Indeogwon group dinner bar with half-and-half chicken: Dalbitgwangjang

Dalbitgwangjang, a chicken place that just opened near Indeogwon Station! I heard it has a pretty rooftop, so I went with a friend for a late-night snack. There's a bar on the 2nd floor and a rooftop on the 3rd floor, apparently! Here's my review of Dalbitgwangjang, a bar near Indeogwon.

Where Dalbitgwangjang is and when it opens

Walk a little from Indeogwon Station Exit 4 and you'll spot Dalbitgwangjang. There are actually quite a few good restaurants around Indeogwon Station, but this one stood out for having a rooftop!

Can Dalbitgwangjang host a company dinner? A room for 16 and rental for 80

The 2nd floor at Dalbitgwangjang was pretty spacious! It's an open layout with several tables set up, which looked great for groups. There's a group room that fits up to 16, and rental for the whole place goes up to 80 people. Seems like a great option for company dinners around Indeogwon!

What is the 3rd-floor rooftop like?

We ate on the 2nd floor, but when I went up to the 3rd floor, there was this pretty rooftop! On a nice day, it seems like a perfect spot for that outdoor drinking feel.

They've even got a draft beer machine up there, so the rooftop is fully usable. Isn't it just so pretty? ㅠㅠ With the string lights hung up for atmosphere, it kind of reminds me of the rooftop room from Itaewon Class 💡

Dalbitgwangjang menu and prices we paid

Here's the full menu at Dalbitgwangjang, a bar near Indeogwon. They have chicken, pizza, pasta, and various other dishes to go with drinks. We ordered half-half chicken for ₩19,500, golbaengi somyeon (whelk noodle salad) for ₩21,000, and draft beer for ₩5,000.

Even though we ate on the 2nd floor, the windows were left wide open, so it felt like eating outdoors.

The complimentary snacks that come out first! You know how it goes, you just keep picking at them before the real food arrives haha.

Turnover matters a lot for draft beer, and this one was smooth and tasty! I noticed a lot of groups coming in — anywhere from 4 to 8 people at a table.

For a bar, I think it's not just about tasty food but also having enough space to seat a big group, and Dalbitgwangjang really has a huge interior — I thought it would be great to bring a group of friends here later.

Golbaengi somyeon, 21,000 won

First out was the golbaengi somyeon (whelk noodle salad). Golbaengi (sea whelk) plus shredded squid jerky in a sweet-and-sour sauce is basically a classic combo, right? The perfect pairing for draft beer! There were also plenty of vegetables in it, so it felt like a fairly balanced dish haha. When your mouth starts to get spicy, washing it down with draft beer is perfect.

Half-and-half chicken, 19,500 won

The chicken had that nostalgic taste of the neighborhood chicken place from back in the day. Since it's fried fresh, the batter was super crispy, and the seasoning sauce was spread evenly across, so it was really tasty.

The kind of flavor that wipes away a whole day's fatigue~ I think I liked the fried half even more than the seasoned half!

Is Dalbitgwangjang worth it for group nights out near Indeogwon?

Look at how meaty that drumstick is. Dalbitgwangjang, a bar near Indeogwon, is a place I'd love to bring a group of friends to next time haha. If you're looking for a spacious bar, a group gathering spot, a company dinner venue, or a rooftop bar around Indeogwon Station, I think Dalbitgwangjang is your best bet. It seems like a great bar for spending a cozy, fun time with friends. I'll be back with more good restaurants soon.
