I think it'd be a great spot for anyone looking for a hair salon in Junggok-dong.

A price list like this was posted at the entrance, so I could check the prices in advance — such a nice touch! It meant I could budget ahead of time :D

There were little decor pieces scattered around the salon that felt subtly stylish and pretty, so it was fun to look around while waiting :-)

Hair before the appointment: an awkward past-shoulder mid-length

Before visiting Wedon Hair, my hair was an awkward mid-length that had grown past my shoulders. The old C-curl perm had almost completely fallen out, and the layers had gotten messy as my hair grew.

At Wedon Hair they shampooed my hair first, and when I took a photo after the shampoo, it really was that in-between length — not quite long, not quite a bob, genuinely awkward mid-length hair..haha! I couldn't wait to change it up and make it fresh~~!

Before the service, Wedon Hair's designer Jonghyun carefully consulted with me about the length and style I wanted. I showed him photos I'd prepared in advance, and together we decided on the cut length and perm type.

Jonghyun, who took charge of my hairstyle this time at Wedon Hair! Before starting, he carefully asked whether I had a specific length or style in mind. I showed him the photos I'd prepared beforehand, and he really thoroughly checked what length to cut and what kind of perm to do ❣️ He also fully took my opinions into account while trying to find a pretty style for me — it really left an impression on me (୨୧ •͈ᴗ•͈)

I also really liked how he kept checking in on my hair mid-process, asking in detail if anything felt uncomfortable 🤗

The finished bob with C-curl perm felt bouncier and more lively than the mid-length before, and it became low-maintenance enough that a quick blow-dry in the morning is all it needs.

And here's the finished hairstyle for this 30-something woman 💇‍♀️ (I had a skin trouble issue that day so I couldn't really do my makeup, which made taking photos a bit embarrassing... sniff..) But I really loved the hair :D Compared to the old mid-length, it definitely looks a bit bouncier and more lively, so this bob cut turned out looking younger for someone in her 30s ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶♡

The C-curl perm turned out exactly as natural as I wanted, so styling in the morning got a lot easier too — natural enough that a quick blow-dry is all you need!
