Bukchon restaurant for avocado kimchi fried rice, 3 dishes: Low Five
In short
Low Five Anguk is a wood-fired pizza and Western restaurant in an alley off Bukchon-ro in Jongno, Seoul. The order covered a half corn, half Tex-Mex taco pizza, truffle cream pasta, and avocado kimchi fried rice (seaweed-free stir-fried rice), while the Caesar salad was sold out. The verdict: the sweet corn and spicy taco half-and-half pizza is the answer at Low Five Anguk.

Today I've got an honest review from Low Five Anguk, a hot restaurant tucked into an alley in Bukchon, Jongno! I properly demolished their signature corn pizza and the Anguk-exclusive taco pizza as a half-and-half, plus their truffle pasta, haha.

How bad is the weekday evening wait?
This place is so popular that even on weekdays, a wait forms right around 7pm. I strongly recommend using CatchTable's remote queuing before you visit!

Step inside and you're greeted with a cozy, warm wood-tone interior with a distinctly American vibe, right? The self-serve bar had hot sauce, wet wipes, grated cheese and more well-stocked, which made things easy to use.
The menu board and what we ordered

I ordered: 1. Corn & Tex-Mex Taco Half-and-Half Pizza (₩27,000) 2. Truffle Cream Pasta (₩19,000) 3. Avocado Kimchi Fried Rice (₩14,000), haha.

Junijun's honest taste review

Corn & Tex-Mex Taco Half-and-Half Pizza (₩27,000)
If you come here, I recommend ordering this half-and-half combo without a second thought!

On a golden, wood-fired crust, there's the sweet and nutty corn pizza with kernels that pop like fresh sweet corn,

and the Anguk-exclusive taco pizza, where spicy taco seasoning meets jalapeños for a sweet-salty-spicy harmony that was insane, ugh. Personally, the taco pizza was more my style!!!

Truffle Cream Pasta (₩19,000)
The moment the plate arrives, a subtle but rich truffle aroma wafts up, haha.

The thick, rich cream sauce clings well between the thick noodles, and the chewy grilled mushrooms on top added deep, savory flavor!!

Avocado Kimchi Fried Rice (₩14,000)
This is a Western restaurant, but I was secretly looking forward to this dish because of the good reviews! Spicy, savory-fried kimchi fried rice topped with soft avocado gives you both richness and freshness at once.

It's the perfect side to pair with the pasta and pizza! I'd wanted to try the Caesar salad this time too, but sadly it was sold out, haha. Next time I'll definitely go back for the Caesar salad — and of course, the taco pizza again~~
Final thoughts
The sweet corn and spicy taco half-and-half combo is a must! Book a remote wait through the CatchTable app before you visit. With its casual yet atmospheric vibe, it's a great spot for dates or gatherings.
