In short

Low Five Anguk is a pizza and pasta restaurant a five-minute walk from Anguk Station, tucked into an alley off Bukchon-ro in Jongno, Seoul. Where is Low Five Anguk, and what does it look like?

This is Anguk! I came to a spot that looks straight-up foreign from the outside~ My friend and I were hunting for somewhere good after work, and I'd already put us on the CatchTable waitlist before heading over! 'Low Five' is so famous a restaurant, you definitely need to book through CatchTable ✨!!

It's about a 5-minute walk from Anguk Station and super easy to find~ It sits a bit further inside the alley, so it's quiet and nice!

How long was the weekday evening wait?

At Low Five Anguk we joined the CatchTable waitlist at 6pm on a weekday and got seated at 7pm. The door has such a great look, and the brick exterior is so pretty that even while waiting outside I kept peeking around at it haha

You can wait outside too! And there's a menu posted, so I'd recommend checking it in advance~~ that way you can order quickly once you're in

The interior has such a stylish yet relaxed vibe — great for a meal with a friend, and also great for a couple wanting a bit of atmosphere while eating. It looks even better in person than in photos~~ It's Europe, straight-up Europe ✨

Tables full of customers

Every table was already packed. You could really feel how popular this place is

Alfredo cream pasta on the table

Alfredo cream pasta

The Alfredo cream pasta we ordered! I tend to love cream pastas, so I gave this a try — the sauce was thick and rich, and it was delicious! The cream sauce coated the noodles really well, giving it a smooth, nutty flavor with every bite

Whole corn and pepperoni half-and-half pizza

Half-and-half corn and pepperoni pizza

Corn & pepperoni half-and-half pizza. It felt like a shame to pick just one pizza, so we ordered the corn and pepperoni half-and-half! Getting two flavors on one pie is great when you're visiting with a friend. Highly recommend the half-and-half pizza!!!👍

Cross-section of a half-and-half pizza slice

Splitting it down the middle meant we didn't get tired of one flavor and could try a bit of everything haha. The pizza itself had a dough and toppings that worked really well together, and it paired nicely with the pasta~!

Is Low Five Anguk good for an Anguk date course?

Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were all satisfying ✨ Anguk has plenty of cafés and sights nearby, so it's easy to build a date course around the meal! So if you're looking for a stylish restaurant in Anguk, I recommend Low Five Anguk~~

Next time I'm in Anguk, I want to try their other pizza options too 🍕✨
