Is there a wait in the early evening at Low Five Anguk?
I'd heard there was a famous pizza place near Anguk Station, so today I visited Low Five Anguk Station branch. It's made of red brick, and even the entrance was gorgeous. Luckily I got in right before the wait started — a line formed right after I walked in.
Even though I went in the early evening, there was already a wait — proof of how popular this place is. The interior was seriously so nice. Both the walls and the ceiling were decorated with flowers, and the whole atmosphere was lovely.

Self-serve cutlery bar: forks, spoons, knives and other utensils are neatly stored, with labels on the front of each drawer so you can easily find what you need.
Sauces and extras: nearby, paper cups and sauce bottles that go well with pizza and other dishes are lined up in baskets for convenient use.

Low Five Anguk's menu is packed with pasta, pizza, and some unique side dishes. There's a wide variety of pizzas too, so if you order pasta together and it's not enough, you can just add a rice dish.
The tables are solid wood, and the overall vibe is burgundy-toned. The tables weren't cramped, and they were spaced apart nicely, which made it easy to talk.
Before the food arrived, I ordered a beer first. Beer just goes so well with pizza, haha.
Truffle cream pasta, 19,000 won
The pasta came out first. <Truffle cream pasta: ₩19,000> This dish had such an appealing thick cream sauce with a strong truffle aroma spreading through it. The sauce coated the noodles completely, so every bite made me go 'wow.' If you like cream pasta, you have to try this one!
Kimchi fried rice, 13,000 won (avocado version sold out)
The second dish was kimchi fried rice (kimchi bokkeumbap)! It's ₩13,000. Why does kimchi fried rice always taste better when you eat it out? The egg omelet on top was so soft it paired perfectly. The avocado kimchi fried rice was sold out, so I ordered this instead, and it was so good I have zero regrets, haha.
Half-and-half pizza, 24,000 won: sweet corn and taco
Third, the pizza arrived! Half-and-half pizza: ₩24,000. We ordered sweet corn pizza and taco pizza together! Fresh out of the wood-fired oven, it was baked beautifully. Isn't the visual amazing? Haha.
Isn't this three-dish combo just perfect, haha. Eating only pizza and pasta can feel a bit heavy, but adding a spicy or savory rice dish on top completes the ultimate cheat-code combo. 🤤
How does the sweet corn pizza taste?
Even just from the photo, the golden-brown corn looks amazing, right? The moment you bite in, the corn kernels pop in your mouth and release a sweet flavor — it's the textbook definition of sweet-and-savory. The dough was also nice and chewy all the way through. If you go to Low Five, you have to try this one! Highly recommend! 👍
How does the taco pizza taste?
The other half was taco pizza, and it genuinely had layers of taco flavor that paired really well with the pizza dough. This one was spicy, too. Recommended if you like spicy food.
Is Low Five Anguk good for a date or friends near Anguk Station?
The atmosphere and the food were both so good, making it a great spot to visit with friends or a partner. If you have reason to be near Anguk Station, I highly recommend it! Between the atmosphere, taste, and service, there was nothing to complain about, so I think I'll keep coming back whenever I'm craving Western food.
