Katsu Gimseondo is a tonkatsu restaurant on Seojeon-ro 47beon-gil in Jeonpo-dong, Busan. I compared a pork loin tonkatsu set with the Gimseondo set, and liked the leaner fried dishes, varied textures, and sauce combinations. The Gimseondo set stood out for letting us try pork loin, tenderloin, fried shrimp, and a soft-boiled fried egg together.

Geobugi Dongne (거북이동네) Busan Namcheon Branch is a barbecue restaurant in Suyeong, Busan, where I ate aged pork neck, beef rib meat, and brisket with my family. The self-service bar made it easy to pair the meat with different sides, though there was a wait on the weekend evening I visited and no parking.
