Sangwangsimni hair salon Nanoheal treatment: Urban Ground Hair

After getting a layered cut, I had been styling my hair at home with a curling iron, and it began to feel dry and stiff. It was also hard to brush, so I went to Urban Ground Hair Sangwangsimni Station Branch (어반그라운드헤어 상왕십리역점) for my first clinic treatment.

What were the wait and salon experience like with a reservation?

The lockers were the first thing that stood out when I entered. Each locker had been prepared with a reserved customer's name, which made me feel thoughtfully looked after.

Because I had made a reservation, I did not have to wait long. I arrived a little before my appointment and sat briefly in the window-side waiting area, where magazines and books were available.

In the past, I have had to wait at hair salons despite having a reservation because there were no seats available. Here, there appeared to be several stylists and plenty of seats, which seemed convenient.

How did the Nanoheal Premium Clinic treatment proceed?

My hair felt damaged and limp, so I chose the Nanoheal Premium Clinic hoping for care that would replenish it. The treatment I received had four steps in total.

First, I received a shampoo meant to wash away scalp flakes and residue. It felt so refreshing and relaxing that my eyes nearly closed.

While waiting briefly after the shampoo, I was given a cool drink and a snack.

They sprayed a mist-form protein onto my damp hair, then applied a generous amount of liquid protein. I was able to chat comfortably with the stylist during the treatment.

After the protein was applied, I received heat treatment. I rested while feeling the warm heat and eating the snack they had prepared.

What care did I receive in the separate spa room?

Next, I moved to a separate spa room inside the salon. The divided space was comfortable, and the reclining chair was a massage chair. While I received a full-body massage, they also carried out the protein coating. My body felt so relaxed that I felt I could fall asleep if I closed my eyes for a moment.

How did my hair feel immediately after the treatment?

After the care, my hair felt calmer than before and seemed to have more weight to it. The hair that had felt dry regained its shine, and I wished I had tried it sooner.

The change I noticed most was when brushing my hair. Before the treatment, the brush caught in my stiff-feeling hair, but afterward it moved through much more easily.

During the finishing blow-dry, I asked how to dry my bangs, which I usually find difficult. The stylist immediately pointed out the issue with my technique, which was helpful. The scalp acupressure was also thorough, and I was satisfied with my first clinic treatment not only for the change in my hair but also as a chance to relax.

I also felt that the cut and perm prices were reasonable. However, I did not record the specific amounts.
