Coffee Dripper location and basic information

Coffee Dripper (커피드립퍼) is on the first floor at 229-4 Nanseolheon-ro, Gangneung, Gangwon. When traveling in Gangneung, you naturally start looking for a good café! Coffee Dripper is near Gangneung’s Chodang Sundubu Street. It is in a great spot to pair with a café visit after coming for Chodang sundubu, so it fit nicely into my travel itinerary.

Wood-toned exterior and terrace seating

The exterior was decorated entirely in wood tones, which made it feel warm and comfortable from the start. The first-floor space was fairly roomy, and there was also a terrace outside. It seemed like it would be lovely to enjoy coffee on the terrace on a nice day, so I would like to try an outdoor seat next time.

A sunny interior atmosphere

Inside, the wood-toned interior continues, creating an overall calm and warm atmosphere. Best of all, I loved that there were lots of windows, so plenty of sunlight came in. I visited during the day, and the natural light made the café especially pretty for photos. If you are looking for a Gangneung café with a nice atmosphere, I think it is well worth stopping by.

Cone chocolate latte and Chodang sundubu pudding

The cone chocolate latte can only be ordered hot, and it arrived served in a waffle cone, which made the presentation fascinating right from the start. The waffle cone was coated with chocolate, so every sip of latte came with a sweet chocolate flavor. It also worked nicely with the coffee’s bitterness.

The Chodang sundubu pudding had a subtle tofu flavor, and it was really delicious with the bright yuzu sauce served alongside it—the balance of flavors was so good. It looked so pretty for photos too, and I loved how Chodang sundubu had been turned into a café dessert. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great café in Chodang-dong!

The Dripper Latte tasted a little like a white almond chocolate latte. It was smooth and sweet, so it was nice to drink alongside dessert.

Vanilla cruffin texture

The vanilla cruffin was crisp on the outside, with cream and nuts inside, giving it a lovely texture. The crisp pastry, soft cream, and nutty nuts came together well, making it a great dessert to have with coffee.
