On a sunny Sunday, staying home felt like such a waste that I decided to go on a drive to Songdo with my mom. Uh oh?! But because of the Songdo Marathon, the roads were blocked off and we couldn't get to Solchan Park like we'd planned. Sigh... I turned the car around to head home, but going straight back felt like too much of a letdown, so I decided to lift our spirits with a good cup of coffee instead. That's how we ended up at Songhyeona café Wunder Coffee Bar.
Where is Wunder Coffee Bar in the Songdo outlet, and where do you park?
Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch sits inside the basement 1F food court of Songhyeona, at 123 Songdo-guksangdaero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. It's a 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Technopark Station on Incheon Line 1, open 10:30–21:00, with free parking for 3 hours when you spend over ₩10,000.
To treat my mom to good coffee, we headed to Wunder Coffee Bar on the basement level of Hyundai Premium Outlet. The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in, and it's also close to Exit 2 of Technopark Station on Incheon Line 1, so this Songhyeona café is easy to reach by public transit too. We parked and headed down to the basement.
What kind of café is Wunder Coffee Bar?
Wunder Coffee Bar started in 2019 in Yeokgok, Bucheon. It combines coffee with a bar concept, aiming for coffee that's comfortable enough to drink every day. They say you can try all kinds of coffee here, including specialty coffee and ice cream desserts, so I was really curious how the coffee would taste.
Wunder Coffee Bar menu and prices
The signature menu included the Wunder Gato — an affogato pairing ice cream with coffee — and the Wunder Coffee, a cream latte. There were also ice cream menu items kids would love, so it seemed like a great spot to visit as a family after shopping at Hyundai Premium Outlet or eating at the food court. I usually drink americano, but since it was so hot that day and I'd been craving ice cream for a while, I ordered the signature Wunder Gato without a second thought.
Wunder Coffee Bar also sells beans roasted in-house, so you can pick the ones you like and enjoy their coffee at home too. If you're serious about home café setups or coffee in general, it seemed worth grabbing some beans after tasting the coffee.
Picking an ice cream flavor and swapping in decaf
You get to choose your ice cream! The Wunder Gato comes with a choice of three: hojicha, classic vanilla, or twist mix, and I went with classic vanilla since it seemed like it would pair well with coffee. I've been sensitive to caffeine lately, so I switched the shot to decaf too. I liked being able to pick both the ice cream and the coffee to suit my taste.

Mom ordered a warm americano and I got the Wunder Gato. There were plenty of tables to sit and rest on the basement level of Songhyeona, so we decided to stay and enjoy it there!
How does the Wunder Coffee Bar americano taste?
Starting with the basics, we sipped the americano first! My mom can't handle coffee that's too strong or too acidic. She said this Songdo coffee spot's americano wasn't too strong and had a nutty flavor, and she enjoyed it a lot. An americano with just the right nutty, full-bodied appeal.
The best way to drink a Wunder Gato
Taste the ice cream first, mix it well, then drink the coffee with the straw
Following the owner's suggestion, I tried the ice cream first. The classic vanilla had espresso drizzled over it, and the smooth sweetness of the vanilla balanced nicely with the bitterness of the espresso. What stood out most was the temperature contrast between the hot espresso and the cold ice cream — quite the charming combination. In my mouth, the ice cream melted away as the rich espresso aroma spread through.
A typical affogato is ice cream with warm espresso poured over it, but the Wunder Gato at this Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet café, Wunder Coffee Bar, adds ice cubes on top, making it even more refreshing. Between the sweetness and bitterness, it blew away any lingering disappointment about missing our drive to Solchan Park.
