Sokcho café for lemon tart and Vietnamese cream coffee: Cafe Neorae

Cafe Neorae Parking and Floors

Cafe Neorae is a large café in Sokcho near I'Park Suites. The relaxing atmosphere and lovely Seoraksan views made it such a satisfying place to unwind!

Cafe Neorae has parking for about 10 or more cars in front of the building, so parking was easy :) This large Sokcho café spans the second floor, a mezzanine-like 2.5 floor, and a third-floor terrace, each with a slightly different feel, so it was nice to choose a seat to suit our mood. The lush green plants and floor-to-ceiling windows were impressive as soon as we walked in.

Bakery and Drink Prices

There were so many bakery items, along with all kinds of drinks from coffee to ade and smoothies :) But, as you would expect from a bakery known for its bread, a lot of it was sold out, which was a little disappointing ㅠㅠ Cakes were around ₩7,000, an Americano was ₩6,000, a latte ₩6,500, and lemonade about ₩7,000—quite reasonable for a large café. We ordered lemon cake, coffee, and lemonade, then headed up another floor.

Autumn Views Through Floor-to-Ceiling Windows and Spacious Family Seating

The autumn foliage view through the floor-to-ceiling windows made me feel completely refreshed. With high ceilings and clean interiors, the view opened up all at once and looked even more amazing~~ There were lots of photo spots, so plenty of people were taking pictures, and the sunlight made portraits turn out beautifully—I got so many keeper shots :) The kids said this café was so pretty too, haha.

From two- and four-person tables to large tables for big families, there was plenty of space between tables, and the restrooms were so clean. Cafe Neorae even had a diaper-changing station for children. You could really feel the owner's thoughtfulness!! Maybe that's why it seems to be a café that lots of families visit!!

We settled into a seat by the floor-to-ceiling windows. The chairs were so comfortable, the weather was lovely, and it was just a happy moment haha.

Sua Da Schpanner and Lemon Tart

Not only was the bread good, but the coffee was delicious too, and the blue lemonade my daughter ordered was packed with refreshing lemon—so rich and tasty :) Such a cool, sparkling ade! And you really have to try the lemon tart cake. The coffee was Cafe Neorae's signature, Sua Da Schpanner: a Vietnamese condensed-milk Einspänner topped with cinnamon and a Neorae cookie. You stir the cream on top into it, and it was seriously delicious, so definitely order it!!!!

A place where we could fully enjoy the Seoraksan view and feel restored. The drinks and cake were delicious too, making it such a happy moment haha.

I usually love Vietnamese condensed-milk lattes, so whenever I travel to Vietnam, I always drink sua da coffee, and I enjoy it at home too. Cafe Neorae's Sua Da Schpanner in Sokcho had a similar feel!!! The soft cream on top and intense espresso came together so well! It was subtly sweet but not overly sweet or heavy, with a wonderfully nutty finish that lingered for a long time—a dessert-like coffee :) The conclusion is that signature drinks really are delicious, haha. It was a completely cloudless day, so we could see Seoraksan wayyyyy in the distance so clearly :) That made it even better, haha.

Third-Floor Terrace Seoraksan Photo Spot

I think some people may not know there is a third-floor terrace and miss it, but Cafe Neorae's Seoraksan view and signature photo spot from this terrace are beautiful, so make sure to go up and take some photos!! Every floor has a different atmosphere, and above all, being able to see Seoraksan at a glance was what I loved most about Cafe Neorae :) If I come back to Sokcho, this is a café I would want to visit again!
