Don't weekend mornings always make you crave good bread with a cold coffee? ☕️ Today I wanted to enjoy a relaxed home café, so I went to a milk bread specialty shop near Sinjung-dong Station in Bucheon.

Easy White Bread, a milk bread bakery café brand from Bon IF, apparently grew the signature milk bread from Easy Brewing Coffee into its own independent brand.

Among its branches, the Sinjung-dong location has such a comfortable, cozy atmosphere that I can't help stopping by whenever I'm nearby. Walking in, the fragrant bread smell puts a bread-lover in a good mood all day long, haha.

Milk bread baked fresh daily with good ingredients 🍞

This is a place where you can meet freshly baked milk bread at set times every day, basically heaven for bread lovers. From the signature Golden Beurre milk bread to walnut rye milk bread and chestnut rice cake milk bread, there was plenty of variety to make choosing fun.

Best of all, they say they only use top-quality ingredients like AOP-certified French butter and fresh dairy cream, which made me trust the bread even more. Thanks to the care put into every loaf, anyone can enjoy soft, flavorful bread without any guilt.

Pick your slice thickness: Golden Beurre milk bread and brewed coffee ☕️

I ordered the half size of their signature Golden Beurre milk bread. The half size is perfect for enjoying alone on a weekend, while the whole loaf seems ideal for sharing with family. What I really liked was that you can choose the thickness of the bread yourself! 🤍

Since I planned to cook with it at home, I asked for a thick 2.5cm cut. And coffee is a must with bread! They also have a carefully selected brewed coffee lineup, so I took home two cups of cold brewed iced coffee.

Home café time: French toast for a perfect weekend ✨

As soon as I got home, I made French toast with the thick 2.5cm-cut bread. Because it was so thick, it soaked up plenty of egg mixture and cooked up wonderfully fluffy—since the bread itself is delicious, it turned out great no matter how I cooked it.

I tried one slice just pan-fried in butter, and since the bread already had AOP French butter baked in, even simply toasting it filled my mouth with a rich, savory flavor.

Pairing this with the clean, cold iced brewed coffee was a perfect flavor match. I hadn't been able to have proper coffee during the week and really wanted a good cup—and Easy White Bread's coffee was genuinely delicious!!😄😄 Caffeine fully recharged 💪🏻💪🏻

Gift-ready packaging and the jam lineup at Easy White Bread

Looking around the store, they also had gift sets ready, made up of the signature milk bread and handmade butter jam. These would work well as a gesture of appreciation for someone dear, or even as a small everyday gift. They'd make a light, thoughtful Chuseok holiday gift for friends and acquaintances too!

There were also various handmade jams and cream cheeses, like plain cream cheese, honey fig cream cheese, and blueberry butter jam. Next time I should pick up some jam too to enjoy the bread in more varied ways.

It's amazing how one delicious loaf of bread on a weekend morning can make the start of the day feel this happy—it was such a good day. If you love brunch, you should visit. The milk bread itself is so chewy and soft that it seems like it would taste great in any dish you make with it.
