Walking to Easy White Bread from Sinjung-dong Station Exit 3

Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinjung-dong Station on Line 7. It's in the Cosmopolitan building — turn left at the corner and you'll see Easy White Bread next to %Coffee.

Why weekday lunch is a good time to visit, and what the shop feels like

I originally planned to visit around 4–5pm, but I was worried the bread would all be sold out by then haha, so I went around weekday lunchtime instead. It's a newly opened bakery, but it's already really popular.

I always get excited when there's bread lined up on the bread board.. 👀 They had soboro chestnut rice cake milk bread, Belgian deep chocolate milk bread, olive, and walnut cranberry rye milk bread. There's a small seating area if you want to eat in. The interior is clean and tidy overall, which gives the place a calm feeling.

They use AOP French butter, so you can really taste the rich flavor in the bread.

Drinks and jams on the Easy White Bread menu

At Easy White Bread you can pair the bread with a carefully selected brewed coffee lineup, including decaf beans. There's also Jeju matcha, strawberry latte, and chamomile-hibiscus-peppermint tea, so there's plenty to choose from even if you're not into coffee. They also have set menus and homemade soup.

Besides bread, they also sell jam. There was a range of handmade jams and cream cheeses that go well with the milk bread — plain cream cheese, honey fig cream cheese, blueberry butter jam, and more.

The Belgian deep chocolate milk bread is a new release. You could see the chocolate oozing out inside, and it looked so delicious. The packaging is really neat too, so it'd make a nice gift.

This bakery follows a same-day-baked, same-day-sold policy, and makes bread without preservatives. The milk bread goes through three rounds of fermentation.

Three milk breads cut to 1.5cm, and how to store them

I got three loaves of bread haha haha. I couldn't leave without trying the milk bread, which is Easy White Bread's signature menu item. I asked for it to be cut to the thinnest setting, 1.5cm.

As for storage: if sealed, it keeps for 3–4 days at room temperature, and if you're not eating it right away, freezing is recommended. After freezing, let it thaw slightly at room temperature, then toast it for 1–2 minutes in a toaster or frying pan for a crispy-outside, soft-inside finish. The warm, nutty smell of freshly baked bread filled the whole shop. I also got a stamp — I'm collecting these haha, since I'm definitely going back.

How the strawberry latte tasted

I also got a strawberry latte to go. You could really taste the strawberry pulp. It was cool, sweet, and delicious. The milk was fresh too. 🍓

Soboro chestnut rice cake milk bread

Soboro chestnut rice cake milk bread! The soboro topping made the outside nutty with a cookie-like texture, and there was so much chestnut inside that it was sweet and delicious.

The best milk bread yet, especially the olive cheese loaf

Wow.. this is the best milk bread I've ever had. It was really, really delicious. You could taste the butter richly — the kind of flavor that instantly tells you they're using good butter. My niece and my dad both said this bread was really good. It's delicious even without spreading jam on it. And the crust had a nice crispy texture.

And the one that really surprised me..!! The olive cheese milk bread! This bread is seriously so delicious. Just thinking about it makes me want to go buy it again. The olive flavor is really strong, and the cheese pops up here and there — it's an addictive combination. Even people who don't like olives would like this. It smelled amazing too.
