How can plain milk bread taste this good?! The nutty butter aroma and the chewy-yet-soft texture were so good that I meant to try just a piece and ended up eating a huge amount.

Usually when people say milk bread is delicious, they mean it's a bit more moist, or that it's good made into a sandwich. But this one was so good eaten completely plain, unlike regular milk bread, that I fell for it instantly.

How much is the Golden Beurre milk bread?
The bread I ate is called Golden Beurre milk bread.

The half size is ₩6,000 and the whole is ₩11,000 — pricier than regular milk bread, yet orders were pouring in. I was curious what made it so special, and one bite explained everything.

They say the Golden Beurre milk bread is a signature loaf made with carefully selected French naturally fermented butter.

What it tastes like plain, with no butter or jam
There's a gentle buttery aroma, not overpowering, so there was no greasy heaviness at all — just right. Regular milk bread usually needs jam, butter, or cream cheese to taste better, but this one had such good flavor on its own that it was delicious eaten completely plain. There's a nutty butter flavor baked into the bread itself, and the moist texture kept my hand reaching for more.

Looking at the cross-section, the crumb looked tight yet soft. There was no dry, throat-catching feeling at all, and a chewiness that made it even more delicious. Regular milk bread with milk is usually moist and soft and easy to eat, but this was even softer than that, with added chewiness — genuinely delicious.

Still freshly baked on an afternoon visit
They say it's made fresh daily, but even though I visited in the afternoon, it still tasted freshly baked. I wondered if they weren't just baking once in the morning but kept baking throughout the day. It's so good that once you try it, you can't stop. Personally, I always toast milk bread or make it into a sandwich, but it was surprising how good it was eaten plain.

Easy White Bread is apparently a milk bread bakery café brand from BonIF. They say they use AOP-certified French butter and dairy cream.

Which milk breads Easy White Bread carries
Besides the Golden Beurre milk bread, the store sells several other kinds — walnut rye milk bread, sobora chestnut rice cake milk bread, and more — along with various menu items that pair well with brewed coffee.

They also have products great for pairing with bread, like plain cream cheese or honey fig cream cheese, so you can mix and match depending on your taste.

Among the recent new products there was also a Belgian deep chocolate milk bread, and its look was insane. Next time I'll definitely try the chocolate milk bread.
Chuseok opening hours and gift sets
Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong will apparently stay open as usual for this Chuseok holiday. They also sell Chuseok gift sets, and with so many reservation orders coming in, the staff looked extremely busy.
They say they follow a principle of making and selling on the same day, using good ingredients generously and with care. They only use AOP-certified French naturally fermented butter, with 0% margarine or vegetable cream and 100% dairy butter cream, and finish the bread's moistness through a precise water-temperature calculation method.

They say caramelized butter wraps around the outside to add flavor. With all that care put in, it tastes great and has that premium bread feel, making it look like a nice gift too.

The packaging is neat too, and there's a variety of gift boxes, so if you're thinking about giving this as a gift, it's worth a visit.

There are tasting samples in the store, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making it easy to pick out exactly the bread you want. Bread lovers absolutely need to check this place out!
