Daeho-dong Naju café: egg tart and salt caramel croffle, Vibe Log

After a meal in Naju, I went looking for somewhere to grab coffee and dessert, and ended up at Vibe Log Coffee Naju Dongshin University Branch (바이브로그커피 나주동신대점)!

The moment I walked in, the place felt bright and clean overall. There's a wide range of coffee, but also plenty of desserts that pair well with it, like croffles and egg tart — making this one of the Daeho-dong cafés in Naju where you can enjoy dessert alongside your drink :) This time I took it easy with three drinks, an egg tart, and a salt caramel croffle.

What is Vibe Log Coffee in Daeho-dong like inside?

The interior was bright and relaxed, decorated cleanly around a white tone. Seats were arranged along the large windows, so sitting and looking outside was nice, and the seating types ranged from two-person tables to wall-side seats.

When I visited, there were people with laptops open passing the time, as well as others chatting. Overall it never felt cramped, so it was a good Daeho-dong café in Naju for slowly resting over a cup of coffee.

Since I'd already picked several sweet items, an iced americano was a must :) It was a clean, easy-to-drink americano, good for alternating with sweet desserts like the egg tart or the salt caramel croffle.

Especially after a bite of the croffle topped with cream and caramel, a sip of the cool americano hit the spot.

For dessert, I tried the egg tart first.

Cutting it in half, the outer pastry was clearly layered, and inside was a thick, soft filling. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the contrast in texture was great — a nice simple dessert to pair with a cup of coffee.

Salt caramel croffle

And the croffle I picked was the salt caramel croffle. It's piled high with cream and topped with caramel sauce, making it a great sweet treat. Cutting into it, the crispy croffle and soft cream came together well, and the texture combo in each bite was pretty good.
