Suwon bagel café: salmon bagel 11,500 won and refresher, Orange Bagel

The sky was so pretty this autumn day 🧡 Are you all enjoying it? The weather was too good to stay home on the weekend haha. So~ I went to Orange Bagel, the big café in Suwon that my husband and I go to often! Today it wasn't my husband but a friend though 😆 Here's my honest review of Orange Bagel, the place I always eat well at whenever I go — let's start!

Orange Bagel hours and parking

Orange Bagel is open daily from 07:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30. It stays open normally even on Chuseok, and there's a large dedicated store parking lot, making this an easy-to-reach café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon 🚙

Thanks to using flavorful Canadian flour, it's the Suwon brunch café I really go to often whenever I'm craving bagels ❤️

Halloween decorations at the entrance and the Bluewings cheering event

From the entrance, Orange Bagel catches your eye with various magnets, bagel stamps, and Halloween decorations 🎃👀 Come to think of it, Halloween is about a month away!!! They've already decorated so nicely 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

There's also a display of Suwon Samsung Bluewings uniforms, and it seems if you leave a cheering message for the players, you can be entered in a raffle for drinks and bagels ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ You might be the lucky winner? Try joining in 🧡💙

What is the seating like, from the 1st floor to the rooftop?

Orange Bagel is a Suwon coffee spot spread across 3 floors total~~ The 1st floor has the order counter along with various bagels, and various types of seats. Since there's no elevator, I think strollers or elderly visitors would do better using the 1st-floor seats haha.

Up the stairs to the 2nd floor we go ٩( ᐛ )و

The 2nd floor space is really spacious, right? There are seats with good sunlight, bar tables~ group seating, sofa seats, and a real variety of chair types too. The tables and chairs come in various colors that still harmonize nicely with the space, so you kind of have to think about where to sit haha haha.

The 3rd floor has a rooftop, which I think would be great once cooler breezes start blowing! Isn't the sky so pretty?? After Chuseok, the cool autumn wind should be just right 🩵

Orange Bagel bagel flavors and prices

Okay! Now for the main bagel time. There are so many different bagels that I'd say this ranks among the places worth visiting in Gyeonggi-do 👀💕 I bet there's at least one bagel here that'll catch your eye. I always have the problem of there being too many options...😋

Just my personal taste, but here are a few I'd recommend

• Laugen butter bagel 6,900 won
• Deep choco bagel 6,900 won

Drink menu and decaf options

The drink menu has signature items like Orange-cano, Orange Breeze, Orange Latte, and Orange Bianco, and decaf is available. There's also milk that goes well with chocolate, and they sell mushroom cream soup too 🥛🫕 The teas are marked for decaf, so it should be easy for anyone sensitive to caffeine to pick something!

There are ovens on the 1st and 2nd floors! Except for the bagels marked 'no oven,' warming them up gives you an even more delicious flavor 👀😆

Salmon bagel, 11,500 won

Looking at how the salmon bagel looks, there's no way you can leave it off the tray haha haha. How could you not eat something with such a gorgeous look.

Slice it up nicely and take a bite — yum! The cream cheese and salmon are so harmonious, neither one asserting itself too strongly, blending together to make something really delicious 😋 Personally I love capers so I wish they'd add more~~~ This is the bagel I order every single time I come to Orange Bagel, so it disappeared in no time 🧡💚🤎

Bacon egg mayo bagel, 8,500 won

Bacon egg mayo, even tastier warmed slightly in the oven. Catching the sunlight, it looks even more delicious than it already was haha 🍳🥓🥯

It's really packed full of egg mayo~ Anyone who likes egg mayo loaded with mayonnaise would love this! The bacon is nice and salty, pairing well with the bagel haha haha. I sometimes make this at home too, but Orange Bagel's bacon somehow tastes even better ❤️

Laugen butter bagel, 6,900 won

The moment I saw the Laugen butter bagel, I thought it looked a bit like a pretzel — and when I looked it up, 'Laugen' apparently refers to the method (used for pretzels or German-style Laugenbrötchen) of dipping the dough into a lye solution before baking. That's what gives it that familiar golden-brown pretzel-like surface~

And with such delicious butter packed in on top of that, this is a can't-go-wrong menu item!! Haha personally I don't love pretzels because of their hard texture, but since this is a bagel, it's much softer 🤎 The buttery flavor is so good that I basically ate almost 2 bagels by myself.

Red-white-blue refresher and orange ade, 7,000 won each

Red-white-blue refresher ❤️💙 and orange ade 💛. I picked the former because I liked the coconut bits, but it turns out red, white, and blue are the Suwon Samsung Bluewings colors. The owner is really, really serious about Suwon Samsung Bluewings haha haha.

Once you mix the red-white-blue ade together, it turns a pretty purple color, and it's sweeter than expected, so I think kids would love this one. The orange ade is refreshing through and through — a sweetness with universal appeal that also went well with the bagels.

Why Orange Bagel is worth a return trip in Suwon

Before heading home, here's my reflection on the big-screen TV — not even seen at grandma's house anymore — my belly is slowly starting to show 👶🏻🥹 I'm a nervous first-time mom worried about it getting too big.
