Oracle card book for self-reflection: SoulGoddess Freyja Card
In short
SoulGoddess Oracle Cards are self-reflection cards from Korea for drawing a card while thinking through a worry. The writer drew the Freyja card for a confidence concern and also read cards for friends. A fun way to organize your thoughts with a little fortune-telling.

Self-reflection readings, born from my love of fortune-telling and tarot
I've loved getting my fortune read or looking at saju (Korean birth-chart fortune telling) for ages. They say it's not good to visit fortune tellers too often, so when things seem like they might get really hard—maybe once every 10 years—my mom goes to get a reading for me. She does it quietly behind my back without telling me. Honestly, I didn't even think things were that difficult then. But I think my mom was always anxious because my future looked so uncertain to her haha.
Whenever she got a reading, they would say things would go well and that I was destined to be a certain way, and my mom would go, “Huh? She isn't that kind of person~” But looking back, I think almost everything they said was right. I remember being surprised when my mom told me, “They said you would live like this, and you really did end up living that way.”
Anyway, even if I don't go to fortune tellers much, I do look at saju and tarot now and then. It's fun to do just for fun, so I decided to give myself some self-reflection readings and bought oracle cards!

An oracle card to draw on a busy day
Ta-da! These are the oracle cards that arrived. You know those times when you're too busy to go get a tarot reading but still want to do it for fun? And when you want your day to be happy and enjoyable but outside circumstances get in the way, or when a worry comes up, pulling out a card with a little swoosh~ somehow makes me feel calmer and better.
Since I already like checking fortunes and things like that, oracle cards feel as if they're counseling me whenever I have a concern, so worries, stop right there! When I asked my friends, it turned out most of the girls like tarot readings too. So every morning, I draw a card for friends who have something on their minds, and they always love it, which makes me so happy.

SoulGoddess Oracle Cards are said to awaken the wisdom and inspiration of goddesses sleeping within our souls and cells. Of course, you can choose not to believe in fortune readings, saju, or fortunes from a fortune teller, and navigate life well on your own. But I think there are clear limits to building a life entirely alone, so it's good to take kind words to heart and let the bad ones pass by—while still living with a little caution!
And just because I like tarot cards and fortune-telling doesn't mean I rely only on what other people say!! Haha.

The reassurance the Freyja card gave me
Anyway, carrying around all sorts of worries-that-aren't-really-worries through the day, I was curious what the cards might want to tell me, so let's open them quickly!

So, I spread the cards out like this~ and bring my worry to mind once more. Then I draw a card. For today's fortune reading, I got a card called Freyja. It said, “You are qualified. Speak confidently about what you want.”
I'm human too, and I think I have so many shortcomings. Lately, my confidence has been a little lower than it was when I was younger, so I laid out my concern about what I should do going forward. Hearing that I was qualified and should speak confidently was quite comforting.

The next day, I opened the cards again, and it said that the other person feels the same way and that I should open up and talk. Seeing a card like that made me feel oddly unsettled, so I decided to draw one more!

But then I got another card like this. If there were some kind of problem, I would try to solve it, but I'm not even in a position where I can reach out, and it's been so long since we broke up that I wonder whether this means anything. Seeing this made my worries feel even deeper haha. Maybe oracle cards are just full of love? I'll go read for my friends too!
One card each for my friends' worries

First up, my first friend's fortune reading: it said to follow her intuition. She had some things she was worrying about lately and was wavering back and forth. But it felt like a solution—telling her to do what felt right to her—so she chose what she felt more drawn to. She messaged me to say things worked out better. Seeing her happy made me happy for no reason too.
May things go even, even better for you~

Another friend looking so pleased too... haha. Honestly, it felt like my friends' cards didn't match me, you know? Of course, maybe we're forcing the meanings to fit, but I drew cards that were similar to the worries I had in mind, and my friends seemed to as well, so it's getting more and more fascinating.

This friend has been taking on lots of challenges lately—what we call “Infinite Challenge,” haha—and she doesn't really know her own worth, so I'm the friend who tells her every day that she's pretty and cute. But this card moved her again, so I think I'll have to give her a fortune reading every day.
It's raining so much... monsoon season... Make sure you're prepared!
