I visited Plan A Restaurant (플랜에이레스토랑) in Songdo, Pohang, with my mother, sibling, and child. Three adults and one toddler shared steak, pasta, and pilaf. I liked that we could eat while looking at the sea and choose dishes for both the child and adults.

Where is this ocean-view restaurant in Songdo, Pohang, and is parking easy?
Plan A Restaurant is on the waterfront road in Songdo, Pohang. Its address is 4F, 1189 Huimang-daero, Nam-gu, Pohang, Gyeongbuk, South Korea.

There is a public parking lot directly behind the building, which made parking convenient when we came by car.

What is the ocean-view atmosphere like for dining with a child?
The sea was fully in view, so the meal never felt closed in. We could eat at a relaxed pace while looking out the window, and the atmosphere felt comfortable even with a child.

There was a high chair, and although there were quite a few guests when we visited on the weekend, we did not have to wait. We visited as a family this time, but I thought it would also suit a date meal sharing steak and pasta with an ocean view.
What did we order for children and adults to share?
We ordered chop steak, tomato spaghetti, truffle aglio e olio spaghetti, and whole shrimp pilaf. We chose meat, pasta, and rice dishes to share.

Which dishes did my child enjoy?
The first dish my child ate well was the chop steak. You can choose either the regular or spicy flavor. My child ate it better than I expected, so it was good to share with the adults.

I also served some tomato spaghetti to my child. The tomato sauce was not spicy, so my child could eat it comfortably.

How were the pasta and pilaf for the adults?
The truffle aglio e olio spaghetti was light, with a subtle spicy kick. It suited my taste, and it had plenty of shrimp.

We ordered the whole shrimp pilaf as a rice dish to go alongside the meal. This dish also had plenty of plump shrimp, and it was good for sharing with the pasta.

Were four dishes enough for the family?
Overall, the food suited our tastes and the portions were generous. Three adults and one toddler shared four dishes and finished the meal full.

Not every dish was designed for children. Still, it was convenient to serve my child chop steak and non-spicy tomato spaghetti while the adults ate spicy aglio e olio and pilaf. Being able to share the dishes each of us wanted while looking at the ocean made me want to return for another family meal.
