QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet my partner and I have been going to since we were dating, and we still go now haha. Chuncheon is a city where buffets open and close all the time, but QooQoo has stayed packed year after year. With sushi, pizza, pasta, BBQ, seafood, and desserts all in one place, it's the kind of spot I end up craving out of nowhere. It's great for a family meal and just as good for a group of friends, so I'd honestly recommend it as a Chuncheon buffet for family gatherings too. ෆ

The restaurant is genuinely spacious and the seating is set well apart, so it never feels cramped. The space is divided nicely too, which made it good for a family meal, a friends' gathering, or a bigger group outing.

A Chuncheon family buffet with a playroom for kids
There's a separate playroom for kids, so on weekends you see a lot of families visiting with their children! If you're looking for a Chuncheon buffet for a family gathering with kids, this should satisfy you.

This time I went on a weekend, and yeah, it was really crowded! If you want to enjoy things at a slightly more relaxed pace, I'd recommend a weekday visit (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

Sushi and noodles refilled fast, even on a busy weekend
The staff kept making a variety of rolls and sushi nonstop. Since it was the weekend and things emptied out fast, they refilled everything right away so there was no waiting around to eat.

There were so many kinds of sushi that people kept grabbing them before I could fit them all on my plate haha. There are about seven kinds of noodle dishes, and if you tell a staff member, they'll make it fresh for you right away.

There's also a good variety of seafood — shrimp jang (soy-marinated shrimp), crab jang, and mulhoe (cold raw fish soup). Great to pair alongside the sushi if that alone feels like it's not quite enough. ˃ᴗ˂

Hot dishes and the busy BBQ corner at QooQoo Chuncheon
There was a wide range of hot food too — kkwabaegi-style sweet and sour pork (gwabaro), dakgangjeong (crispy sweet chicken), stir-fried udon, fried rice, pasta, and more. Everything's kept warm on induction burners, so it's all served hot!
At the popular BBQ station, you can make your own kebabs, and the LA-style short ribs kept coming out — they disappeared almost the moment they were put down, they were that popular.

The warm soup went really well with the crispy bread — I'd recommend trying it at least once!

There's also a variety of fried food, and bread you can dip in chocolate fondue, which I think kids especially would love.

Desserts at QooQoo Chuncheon: waffles to marble ice cream
QooQoo really has a huge dessert lineup. From cake to fruit to marble ice cream, if you love dessert, you could honestly do a whole third round of just the dessert bar 🖤

You can make your own warm waffles, and there's soft-serve plus a variety of ice creams on hand. Waffle and ice cream together really is the best combo ❤︎

There's also soda, juice, coffee, and slushies, so it's easy to end the meal on a good note.

The salad selection is varied too, with sweet pumpkin and yukhoe (raw beef) also on offer. When you're at a buffet, your conscience makes you grab at least a little salad, right?

A plate of salmon and flounder sushi to finish
I loaded up on my favorites — salmon sushi, flounder sushi, and more. Just a heads-up: the wasabi doesn't come inside the sushi here, it's set out separately, so I grabbed plenty on the side! ˘◡˘

My husband, maybe because he'd had too much to drink the night before, went straight for the jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) first. 🫠

My personal pick is still salmon sushi! I lost count of how many times I went back for just salmon and flounder, hehe.

My husband came back with a huge bowl piled with marble ice cream ෆ I thought 'who eats that much?'... but in the end, we both finished it down to the last bite ⌯ᵔ⤙ᵔ⌯ಣ
With everything from sushi to BBQ to dessert, it's a Chuncheon buffet that works well for a family meal or a get-together ✨ I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving sushi haha!
