Nowon pasta restaurant with spicy beef tomato pasta: Pasta Han Kki

Whenever someone asks me for a delicious, affordable pasta place near Nowon Station, Pasta Han Kki is always my first recommendation. Italian food can seem expensive and intimidating, but this is a great value Italian restaurant in Nowon that completely overturns that idea.

It is only a one-minute walk from Exit 10 of Nowon Station, so it is really close to the station and makes a great date spot after hanging out around Nowon Station.

It is on the first floor, and the restaurant is quite spacious with full-length glass windows, so it was incredibly easy to find.

Value-priced, dine-in-only menu from pasta to steak

Pasta is the signature! There are as many as 15 kinds, plus plenty of Italian dishes such as risotto, salads, pizza, and steak. You can check the prices outside, too, and every pasta is ₩9,900 when dining in—such amazing value!

These days, pasta can cost over ₩20,000 at some places, but here it is under ₩10,000 and the portions are generous. It is a genuinely famous value spot in Nowon for pasta near Nowon Station.

Seating for solo meals, dates, and groups

Inside, it was clean, bright, and hip. The LP records and license plates on the walls added a slightly exotic feel while really showing off its Italian-restaurant identity.

There were more seats than I expected: six to seven four-person tables, round tables for two, and window seats for one or two people. The table spacing was good, too. It looked great for groups, dates, or eating alone.

In particular, there were lots of people dining alone that day, as well as couples having a late dinner.

But perhaps because it is famous as a pasta spot in Nowon, it seems to fill up oftenㅠ It was not too busy just before closing on a weekday, but you may have to wait at weekday lunchtime or on weekends.

Table ordering and set menus

You can order and pay through the table-order system. They were also running a Naver receipt-review promotion: if you order the review item first, like when ordering delivery, they give you the receipt with your food. The review-event options include popular sides such as sausage and garlic bread, so I definitely recommend joining the event!

Looking over the menu, almost every pasta really was ₩9,900. It is a dine-in-only price and apparently available only at the Nowon Main Branch. If you happen to pass by when there is no crowd, it is a price that makes it easy to walk right in without hesitation.

There were also three pizzas—Margherita, gorgonzola, and pepperoni—priced from ₩7,900 to ₩9,900. They were seriously affordable, so I really recommend it as a value Italian restaurant in Nowon.

There were set menus, too. The solo set, with pasta, a side, and a drink, was ₩13,300, while the value couple set with two pastas, a side, and drinks was ₩22,000. The sets were genuinely great value as well.

Even the steak set cost about as much as a single steak at many other Italian restaurants, so this is an absolute recommendation if you are looking for a value restaurant in Nowon.

At the self-service bar, you could get water, pickles, sauces, side plates, wet wipes, tissues, and cutlery. There were plenty of sauces prepared, so it looked easy to bring what you needed back to the table.

Green salad and beef brisket tomato hangover pasta

First up was the garlic bread. Even if you do not order it, everyone gets one piece as complimentary bread before the meal. Its gentle garlic aroma and sweetness really woke up my appetite, and it was not hard at all—just perfect to eat!!

Next came the green salad (₩7,500). Fresh leafy greens and red cabbage were topped with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, almonds, and cheese. It felt packed with wholesome ingredients, so it did not feel heavy at all, and I liked that the dressing was not overpowering. The portion was bigger than I expected, too.

The grapefruit ade did not just taste like syrup—it tasted as though real grapefruit had been properly blended in!! It was deliciously sweet and tangy, with grapefruit's intriguing bitterness coming through so well.

For the main, I ordered the beef brisket tomato hangover pasta (₩9,900). Its rich color alone was anything but ordinary.

I did not actually need hangover food that day, but I was craving something spicy, so I ordered it. Unlike other pastas, it came in a deep bowl rather than a flat plate, so it was actually closer to a soup dish.

Because the bowl was deep, it was naturally easy to spoon up the broth. The spicy flavor with the tomato's savory depth made it feel like a rich jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) broth! If I had needed hangover food, this would have been the perfect choice. There was also so much thin-sliced beef brisket that even after finishing the noodles, brisket was left—it was practically half noodles, half beef brisket... It really felt as though they did not skimp on ingredients, and I could see why a place that started in Nowon has opened branches all around Seoul.

I left truly full after spending in the ₩10,000 range, and I was so satisfied with everything from the flavor to the quality at Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch!! The staff were so kind, too, and it had been a while since I left a restaurant feeling this happy.
