Pork cutlet restaurant in Gangseo, Seoul: Tteudon Magok lunch
In short
Tteudon Magok Branch is a Japanese-style pork cutlet restaurant near Magok Station in Gangseo, Seoul. I had the signature pork cutlet and cheese cutlet with soup, morning rolls, and ice cream from the self bar. Verdict: the tangy-sweet sauce and generously cheesy cutlet made for a very satisfying meal.

Tteudon Magok Branch visit information near Magok Station
Weekday lunch is discounted by ₩1,000, so I think it would be great to visit during weekday lunch hours!

The origins of the ingredients are disclosed this transparently too, so I could eat with peace of mind!

What are the spacious tables and kids' zone like?
The interior was completely pleasant and there were lots of tables, so it looked capable of handling the lunchtime rush from offices around Magok Station! The restaurant was spacious, with plenty of tables without squeezing them too close together, which was so nice!

There was even a kids' zone, so I think it would be such a great place to come with children! When I visited, children were playing in the kids' zone too, haha. A space that gives moms and dads room to enjoy their meal~ I want to come back with my baby after I give birth too, haha~~

What's at the self bar?
At the self bar, you can serve yourself as much danmuji (pickled yellow radish), kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), and pickles as you want. There was udon broth, soup, and bread too... Isn't that so much food..!! Such crazy value~~ I came for pork cutlet, and they give you bread too..?!

You all know how insanely good it is to dip a morning roll in soup, right?! I made sure to sprinkle plenty of pepper into the soup too, haha. The pork cutlet + morning roll + soup combination somehow gives me that old-school pork-cutlet-place-near-campus feeling, which made it even more exciting and lovely, haha.

As someone who can't live without dessert, I was checking out the ice cream before I had even started eating ^^.. There were no fewer than four ice cream flavors, and everything was neatly arranged! It was honestly my first time seeing green tea ice cream at a restaurant, so I was fascinated and excited.. hahaha.

I ordered the signature pork cutlet and cheese cutlet
There were so many menu options that I photographed them one by one! I tend to order the best dishes whenever I go to a restaurant, so I ordered the basic Tteudon pork cutlet and Tteudon cheese cutlet! I wanted the sweet-potato-cheese cutlet, but my husband doesn't like sweet potatoes, so we passedㅜㅜ Next time, I'm going to try the sweet-potato-cheese cutlet!! I still can't stop thinking about it... How delicious must it be..⭐️

Tangy-sweet sauce and generous cheese
The cutlet was generously covered in moist sauce, so it didn't get dry even after some time had passed. The sauce soaked deeply through the crispy coating, and the savoriness just exploded!!
Pork cutlet can get a bit tiring as you eat it, but Tteudon's distinctive sauce is tangy and sweet, gently balancing the flavor so I could enjoy it right to the end! The cheese cutlet especially had no shortage of cheese, so it looked amazing and tasted amazing too! Crispy on the outside, with chewy cheese and clean-tasting meat packed inside—it got more delicious with every bite..!

Finishing up with a pork cutlet morning-roll sandwich
It said to try wrapping it in a morning roll like this, so of course I did right away~~ haha. My husband tried it and said it was like a Mom's Touch 싸이버거 (Thigh Burger)..! He said it was so delicious, haha. I loved that there were different ways to enjoy it—it felt fresh and even better!
But I was soooo full that I couldn't eat itㅜㅜ Tteudon's portions are huge, haha!! Every time I've visited Tteudon, I remember leaving absolutely stuffed, haha.. My husband said he was about to burst, but it was so good that he ended up finishing every last bite, haha.

After filling up on crispy yet moist pork cutlet, ice cream for dessert was the perfect finish!! It wasn't the cheap-tasting kind of restaurant ice cream—it was genuinely delicious ice cream, which made it even better! The green tea flavor was so good..❤️ haha. Tteudon has long been famous for its pork cutlets, and I was so happy to revisit and introduce it through this opportunity, haha. If you're looking for a great pork cutlet restaurant near Magok Station, I recommend stopping by Tteudon Magok Branch!
