What the Olibus dining room looks like

We booked through Naver Reservation before visiting Olibus. Since we pre-ordered our menu, we didn't have to wait long — we got to look around the restaurant and chat with a bit more ease before the food came out.
If you walk in without a reservation, you can order via the QR code at each table. The order page has photos and prices laid out clearly, so ordering is easy.

First, I looked around the restaurant. The warm wood-toned interior and soft lighting caught my eye right away.

Toward the back, the kitchen was slightly open, so I could see the food being prepared, which I liked. Wine bottles and vintage props on wooden shelves added a homey touch, giving off the vibe of an Italian family home.

European-style posters on the walls added comfort, and the tables had a classic yet unfussy modern look that made the whole place feel cozy — I really loved sitting there, it felt like being in a small restaurant.

It felt like I'd stepped into a small restaurant somewhere in Italy, and I was in a giddy mood I hadn't felt in a while.
What we ordered at Olibus: three dishes for two

Since my friend loves rose sauce pasta, we ordered two dishes: the sweet shrimp rose panne pasta and the Toowoomba fettuccine pasta. The colors looked pretty similar, so I wondered if we should have ordered something different, but each had its own distinct charm, so I ended up feeling good about our choices.

Red shrimp rosé panne pasta: how does it taste?
Taking the first bite of the sweet shrimp rose pasta, the noodles were chewy yet soft, and the rose sauce was tasty without being overdone.

The refreshing cucumber pickles were sliced to just the right thickness for my taste, and they cut through the richness of the pasta nicely.

You've got to eat sweet shrimp with your hands. They even gave us disposable gloves and scissors, so we peeled off the shells and fully enjoyed the plump shrimp meat.

The panne bread that came with the shrimp, dipped generously into the rose sauce, was also a special treat. Being able to enjoy pasta, shrimp, and panne bread all in one dish makes this a menu I'd recommend for anyone, any age.
Toowoomba fettuccine pasta: how spicy and creamy is it?
The Toowoomba fettuccine pasta had slightly flat noodles and a mild kick of spice. Packed with mushrooms and shrimp, it was fun to hunt for the pieces, and the flavor was strangely addictive — the kind of pasta I'd keep coming back for.

Whole potato fries as a side
The whole potato fries had a wonderfully crispy texture. Dipped lightly in the sriracha mayo sauce, they were really delicious. These fries let you enjoy a whole different side of potato flavor — a perfect side dish.

They said that if you make a Naver reservation and write a review, you get two glasses of handmade syrup ade. The review steps and how to participate were clearly explained, so make sure to check and join in.
It was a great time spending a cozy, atmospheric meal with a friend in a lovely restaurant.
