ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch is a hair salon in Hannam-dong, on the 3rd floor of Hyundai Liberty House right next to Paul Bassett at the Hannam five-way intersection. They can do whatever dye mood you want, and customizing the process gave a really satisfying finish.
I walked and took the bus, but there's free parking for 250 cars, which is a big plus in Seoul where parking is so expensive — no burden at all if you drive 🤍 I'm planning to drive next time too~

I booked and visited through Naver Reservation. I got my treatment from designer Youngseo, and since she had so many reviews and other customers seemed so satisfied, I didn't hesitate to pick her :)
Inside the salon: what the wait is like
I went in with an excited heart, ready for a beauty day at ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch..!! 🤍 It was my first visit, but I'd heard they have a lot of repeat customers. Sure enough, when I walked in, regulars had taken up most of the seats.
ONLY FOR YOU Hannam has magazines and things laid out so the treatment time doesn't feel boring, and I could just look out the window and pass the time. I couldn't capture it in a photo, but the view outside is of the Hannam five-way intersection, so it felt really open and nice!
Inside the salon there were photos on display showing the designers' passionate work in progress. The designers at ONLY FOR YOU Hannam all looked like they were giving it their all every moment, and I think that's exactly what pulls in so many regulars!
Consultation and the mint brown color test
I had a thorough consultation with designer Youngseo, and even though I didn't clearly say the exact mood I wanted, she caught it right away — that's the difference an expert makes, haha. Youngseo picked the color considering my skin tone and my hair's current condition overall, so it went really smoothly!
Worried the color might not come out the way I wanted, she even ran a test for me!! First time I've been to a salon that tests the color, honestly,, 👍🤍 Thanks to that test I think we were able to get the perfect color!!!
While sitting, they bring you drinks and snacks. You can also order via QR code, which was convenient! I ordered a cold barley tea.
Grown-out roots: how the two-step dye was applied
Since my roots had grown out a lot, the roots and the section below them needed different dye applications, so I felt she paid extra attention to that! Youngseo took great care to make sure my hair wouldn't come out patchy.
To speed things up, two people applied the dye at the same time, so the application itself didn't take long!

Really thorough application, right? Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, they apply dye differently for each individual, which felt so much more trustworthy! They also applied scalp protector before dyeing, so my precious scalp was protected too 🤍
The handling finish before the shampoo
Before the shampoo, Youngseo finished the color further with handling technique!! Truly the dye king,,, I've had dye done at plenty of places, but this is the only place that does handling,, 🥲🤍
After the dyeing was done, Youngseo calmly styled my hair 🫶🏻✨ I honestly felt like I wanted to hand my hair over to her every single day, haha.
How did the mint brown color turn out?
Ta-da-🌟 Such a pretty brown color, finished! I asked for the mint brown that's trending these days — apparently the trend is about removing redness depending on the person, and instead of literally mixing in mint color with my base hair color, Youngseo used her own unique dye recipe to achieve the same result as a mint brown dye>.<
Such a shocking before and after, I really felt reborn,, hahaha. She nailed the exact vibe I wanted, and I was so happy about it!
Such a satisfying finished result.. ✨👏🏻 Doesn't it look so evenly and prettily done? Even now, a week after dyeing, I look at my hair color and feel happy every single day haha.
