Gangnam pasta restaurant with green terrace seats: Brivit Gangnam

Today I'm bringing you a review of a pasta restaurant near Gangnam Station that I visited with a friend...! It's great for blind dates and also good for gathering with a group, so I really want to recommend this stylish spot to anyone looking for a good-vibe pasta restaurant near Gangnam Station or Sinnonhyeon Station ✨

Where is Brivit Gangnam Station? 5 minutes from Sinnonhyeon Station

Brivit Gangnam is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 6 of Sinnonhyeon Station, and about 7 minutes from Gangnam Station. It's a perfect spot for office workers around Gangnam to gather after work! Since it's tucked into an alley, it has that hidden-gem feeling >.<

Brivit's green terrace seats: solo dining to groups of six

Brivit Gangnam has a range of seating — window bar seats, tables for 2, 4, and 6, and a green terrace zone in one corner of the restaurant. The wood-and-green interior gives it a bit of a plantscaping feel 🍃 I really want to book that green terrace zone next time..🥹 With seating for 2/4/6 available, it's a pasta restaurant that works well for both blind dates and friend gatherings haha

In particular, there's a green terrace zone toward the back where they've lined a brick wall with tons of plants, so it really feels like eating on an outdoor terrace...! It's pretty for photos and has a real date-y vibe, so I loved it 🌿 Having a blind date or a date here would be so happy ㅜㅜ!!

Brivit menu and the two-person set options

Since there were two of us, we ordered a set — and ordering a Brivit set gets you a bigger discount than ordering à la carte, so it's way more worth it haha! If two people are eating, the Best Set is plenty, and if you want to treat a wedding-invite gathering, the Bri Set seemed like the way to go haha

Pasta, risotto, steak, plus salads and sides! They also have highballs and ades, so it was great for enjoying a variety of things.

Ringing the table bell to order, plus the self-bar

At Brivit, you look over the menu, decide what you want, then ring a bell and staff come to take your order lol. This turned out to be Brivit's own unique and fun ordering system 💛

The self-bar had pickles, tissues, water, and even phone charging cables set out, which made things really convenient ✨

How does Brivit's green onion cream corn gnocchi taste?

The green onion cream corn gnocchi (녹은 대파크림 옥수수뇨끼) is 100% handmade gnocchi, crispy outside and chewy inside, topped with green onion cream sauce, corn, and whole bacon. One bite in and the corn cream was so soft and nutty...!! The gnocchi's texture was so chewy that it paired perfectly with the cream sauce 💛

The outside was slightly crispy and the inside was fluffy, so I kept reaching for more 🌽 The bacon was in whole pieces too, adding a salty, savory depth, and the corn kernels popped with each bite for a fun texture!

Jambon spicy risotto: spicy in a way Korean palates love

The jambon spicy risotto (잠봉매콤리조또) is a risotto piled with jambon, topped with cream sauce, so it's smooth but has a low-key kick of spice. It's the kind of spicy that fits Korean tastes perfectly, so my spoon kept going back!! Any K-Korean would definitely love this flavor ❤️🔥

The jambon itself was salty and savory, so it balanced well with the cream sauce, and there were almonds in it that gave off a nutty aroma!! There was also a soft cream-cheese-like topping, so with every bite you got this strange, great combo of softness + spice + saltiness 🧡

Spicy eggplant fritters, the dish to order at Brivit

The dish I most want to recommend at Brivit Gangnam is the spicy eggplant fritters (매콤가지튀김)...!! Crispy outside, moist inside, and dipped in the spicy chipotle sauce, it's absolutely incredible ㅠㅠ🖤

Without any of that mushy eggplant texture, it was cooked soft, so biting through the batter you got this burst of juice — eggplant juice, I guess — that made it genuinely incredible lol. The portion was just right, actually plenty, for two people to share!!

Who should visit Brivit Gangnam Station?

I went here on a weekday after work, wanting to grab good food with friends near Gangnam Station, and between the clean interior, the friendly service, and above all the delicious gnocchi and risotto, I left very satisfied 🐰🤍 Both the food and the atmosphere were great overall, so I think I'll go back next time I want pasta near Gangnam Station haha
