Sillim pizza restaurant with butter garlic potato set: Pug Pizza House

Today I visited Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch, a great spot when you're craving pizza near Sillim Station!

I usually find it a shame to only pick one flavor when eating pizza, so I loved that this place lets you enjoy two flavors at once with a half-and-half pizza. Plus, unlike typical pizza places, they use chewy bagel dough for handmade pizzas, so even the crust is delicious 🍕✨

Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch is located at 363 Sillim-ro, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, South Korea (ground floor), open daily 11:40–22:00 with last order at 21:20.

It's about a 4-5 minute walk from Exit 6 of Sillim Station, so it's convenient to reach by public transit. Other reviews also mention roughly a 5-minute walk from Exit 6. Parking is difficult right in front of the store, so you'll need to use a nearby paid parking lot — worth keeping in mind if you're driving.

The American-diner mood of this Sillim Station pizza restaurant

Even before stepping inside, Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch felt different from a typical pizza place. The building itself is fairly large, and once you go inside, the hip interior reminded me of an American pizza joint.

Even the stairway wall was decorated with graffiti-style art, giving the whole place a casual, free-spirited feel. It seemed like a great spot for pizza with friends, a date, or a group gathering.

At Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch, you order using the kiosk at your table once seated. The menu is quite varied, so it's fun just browsing the pizza options.

Pug Pizza House doesn't just do basic cheese or pepperoni pizza — they also have some special pizzas using truffle, mushroom, shrimp, scallop, and more. So if you're visiting with a group, I'd recommend going half-and-half so everyone can pick a flavor they want!

What comes in the half-and-half pizza & side set

What we ordered that day was the half-and-half pizza & side set. It comes with a half-and-half pizza + choice of one side + mini salad or bagel, and we added the optional bagel edge whole cheese milk crust for +₩4,500! For the side, we picked the butter garlic potato 🥔💛

After some deliberation, we went with 🍄 truffle mushroom gnocchi and 🌶️ hurricane double pepperoni as our two halves! Being able to enjoy two flavors in one pizza is really great when it's hard to choose haha

First up, one side was truffle mushroom gnocchi!

Even in photos you can see it's loaded with mushrooms, and combined with the white sauce and cheese, it had a strong soft, savory flavor. It felt unique having gnocchi and mushrooms on top of pizza instead of typical toppings. If you like truffle, this side is definitely worth trying 🍄

🌶️ Hurricane double pepperoni half

The other side was my favorite — hurricane double pepperoni!

As you can see in the photo, the pepperoni was piled on thick, giving it that full American-style pizza look 🍕 With melted cheese and the salty punch of pepperoni, it went great with beer or soda! Eating just one flavor the whole time can get old, but pairing it with truffle mushroom gnocchi on the other side let us switch it up along the way.

Bagel dough and the whole cheese milk crust (+4,500 won)

One of Pug Pizza House's signatures is the chewy bagel dough.

The crust edges are chewier and softer, like bread, compared to typical pizza dough, so you can enjoy the crust all the way to the end. We also added the whole cheese milk crust for +₩4,500. I usually leave the crust behind when eating pizza, but with cheese baked into the crust, I ended up eating the whole thing haha

It's like the feeling that pizza isn't just about the toppings — the dough has to be delicious too! 🍕💙

The side: butter garlic potato and mini salad

The butter garlic potato we chose as our side also came out.

The potatoes were topped generously with a soft sauce, plus crispy bits and parsley on top, making a great companion between pizza slices. Adding one side made the table feel a lot more filling than pizza alone. Pizza + potatoes is really a combo that's hard to mess up 🤭

We also ate the mini salad that came with the set.

Since the pizza and potatoes were both heavy on cheese and sauce, having fresh salad in between felt like it cleaned the palate. Looking back at the photos, the pizza + potato + salad combo was more filling than I expected! With two people, one pizza plus a side was plenty for a full meal 👍

Free refills of sauces at the self-serve bar

Here's something I personally loved — Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch has a self-serve bar where you can grab your own utensils and sauces.

As shown, you can use pickles, garlic sauce, hot sauce, parmesan cheese, and more to your taste, which was great for mixing and matching sauces while eating pizza.

Some pizza places charge extra for each additional sauce, so being able to use as much as you want here was quite convenient.

The dog-friendly pet zone on the third floor

One thing that sets Pug Pizza House apart from other pizza places in Sillim is the pet zone where you can bring your pet.

The entire 3rd floor operates as a pet zone, while the 1st and 2nd floors are pet-free. Both dogs and cats are welcome, with guidelines of under 25kg and under 50cm in height, so pet owners should check ahead. There's also guidance that pets should be carried on the stairs out of consideration for other guests. This seems like a great option for anyone looking for a place to enjoy pizza or pasta with their dog 🐶🍕

Takeout discounts worth knowing

Besides dining in, you can also take pizza home. Currently, takeout orders get ₩3,000 off per pizza and ₩2,000 off dough sandwiches, with the discount automatically applied for Naver takeout orders.

On days when you want to enjoy pizza comfortably at home, takeout seems like a good option!

The review event running at Pug Pizza House

Inside the store, I also noticed signage about a review event. There are several review events running, including one through Naver, so it's worth checking the details before you order. The signage in the photo explained an event where you show a staff member your review after writing it. These events can change over time, so it's best to check the in-store signage at the time of your visit :)

What makes Pug Pizza House Sillim different

I learned that the name FURG in Pug Pizza House comes from combining FREE + PUG. I found it touching that the brand wants to bring warmth through pizza, like the happy, free time spent with a warm dog amid a busy daily life. It's more than just a place selling pizza — they've created a space where you can be with your pets and also run campaigns about stray dog protection and adoption culture. Seeing this kind of information in-store made me appreciate that they care about more than just the food.
