If you are looking for a quiet dinner in Yeouido
I visited MOI (모와) because I wanted dinner somewhere with a little atmosphere in Yeouido.
MOI is a small Italian restaurant near Yeouinaru, and I loved its quiet, cozy feel thanks to its intimate size.
The atmosphere at MOI in Yeouido

MOI had such an elegant atmosphere.

The whole place was clean and upscale, the kind of restaurant that makes you feel as though you ought to dress up a little.

It was just right for a date or a special occasion such as an anniversary.

The tables were spaced nicely too, so it was comfortable to eat there.

They also serve brunch, but it was a great place for a relaxed evening meal with a glass of wine.

There are lots of options, including pasta, gnocchi, risotto, and steak.
1+ grade Korean beef striploin steak

I ordered the 1+ grade Korean beef striploin steak.

The Korean beef striploin came with a lovely range of accompaniments: fried baby potatoes, shishito peppers, onion purée, chamnamul (Korean parsley) chimichurri, and black pepper sauce.

The steak was sliced into easy-to-eat pieces and seemed to be cooked medium rare.

If the meat quality is poor, it has not been handled well, or it is cooked incorrectly, steak can have an unpleasant smell or taste a little gamey. This meat was good, though, and it seemed very well cooked.

It was cooked just enough to preserve the tender texture of the striploin, which made it even more delicious.
A steak with a great meat-and-sauce combination

The steak itself was delicious, but I think the sauces and garnishes served with it lifted the entire dish even further.

The black pepper sauce in particular added a deeper flavor to the clean taste of the beef, while the onion purée was smooth with a subtle sweetness that paired beautifully with the steak.

The chamnamul chimichurri on top was different from typical steak sauces, so it felt fresh and was delicious too.

Its distinctive chamnamul fragrance and herbal flavor made the thick Korean beef striploin feel brighter and fresher to eat.

The fried baby potatoes were chewier and softer than I expected, and the well-cooked shishito peppers were so tasty too.

Eating only meat can become a little repetitive, but having vegetables and potatoes along the way made every bite delicious from start to finish.
A lovely Yeouido date spot
MOI is a small restaurant, which suited my taste even more. I prefer calm, quiet places to crowded ones.

With its elegantly decorated space, it has a wonderful atmosphere for steak or pasta with a glass of wine. It is just right for anyone looking for a Yeouido date, blind-date dinner, or anniversary meal. If fine dining feels too formal but you want somewhere with more atmosphere than an ordinary restaurant, give MOI a try.

There is group seating and a relatively private area, so it is also good for gatherings. It would be nice to go with several people, order different dishes, and try a little of everything.

The atmosphere was very elegant, and I was pleased overall with everything from the food presentation and flavor to the cleanliness, so I think I will return.

MOI has separate lunch and dinner menus, so it would be a good idea to check the menu in advance and visit during the time when the dish you want is available.
