In short
Think Fruit is a premium fruit dessert and brunch café on Wausan-ro 29-gil in Mapo, Seoul, a 12-minute walk from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 6. On a weekday visit in mid-September the order was a fig soufflé for 20,000 won, an iced Americano for 5,500 won and a matcha latte for 8,000 won, and the refrigerated showcase held top-grade fruit boxes marked with that same day's date. Today I want to introduce a Hongdae dessert café called "Think Fruit." Think Fruit is a premium fruit-focused dessert and brunch café that sources sweet, fragrant fruit by season for its menu.

I love figs, and I heard I could try seasonal fruit soufflés here — not just fig but also peach soufflé — so I visited. Anyone who needs a sweet sugar boost, this is a must-read😍 This is the Hongdae dessert café "Think Fruit."

How to get to Think Fruit from Hongik Univ. Station

Think Fruit is a 12-minute walk from Exit 6 of Hongik University Station! It sits on a quiet alley, so you can spend your time there peacefully :)❤️
Inside Think Fruit: full-height windows and the fruit showcase

The front and side of the interior are full glass windows, so the light is great, and you can enjoy your coffee and dessert while looking out onto the quiet alley. Inside it's a clean white interior. Even though we visited on a weekday, customers kept coming in nonstop! There were even foreign visitors, which made me think this must be a well-known spot among international guests too.

The refrigerated showcase had several fruit boxes on display. I visited on September 18th, and seeing the "top grade" label along with the date 9/18 marked on the box, it seemed like they'd just brought the fruit in that day — I could tell it was truly fresh.
What was on the Think Fruit menu in mid-September: peach and fig

Here's the menu board! Since they use seasonal fruit, the menu changes with the seasons. In mid-September, as summer fades into fall, they were selling desserts and drinks made with peach and fig. Fig lovers, I love fig season❤️❤️

Next to the menu board were photos of the peach soufflé and fig soufflé! As a fig lover, seeing the fig soufflé photo already got my mouth watering🤤

You can get a free Häagen-Dazs with a Naver receipt review, and ₩2,000 off with Naver save/notification (on orders over ₩10,000)! After ordering, staff bring the drinks and desserts to your table, so make sure to tell them if you move seats! Since the soufflé takes about 20 minutes after ordering, we asked to receive the soufflé and drinks together.
The 20,000-won fig soufflé after a 20-minute wait
- Fig soufflé: ₩20,000
- Iced Americano: ₩5,500
- Matcha latte: ₩8,000

Yay, here's the fig soufflé and drinks after a 20-minute wait. Doesn't the visual look amazing?? A sweet aroma drifted up too, so it was a treat for both the eyes and the nose.

There were three palm-sized fluffy soufflé pieces, piled generously with chewy whipped cream on top, surrounded by Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream and sweet figs. I love figs but I don't usually buy them myself since it's hard to pick good-quality ones and they're a pain to store — but the figs at Think Fruit were so delicious❤️ I could really taste the freshness.
You wouldn't believe how good it is to eat this incredibly soft soufflé — a knife glides right through it — topped with chewy cream and fresh fruit! Honestly I don't usually like plain breads like white bread or dinner rolls, but this soufflé had such a rich eggy flavor that paired so well with the fruit and cream that I kept eating bite after bite!

Iced Americano or matcha latte: which drink suited the soufflé
The iced Americano was nice and bitter, which paired really well with the sweet dessert.

The matcha latte was a bit pricey, but with Häagen-Dazs ice cream on top, the price made sense somehow... it was sweet, and you should mix it well before drinking.

That's it for today's visit to the Hongdae dessert café "Think Fruit." It was a place where you could get a proper sugar boost from soufflé desserts made with seasonal fruit :) If you need a sweet fix in Hongdae, definitely pay it a visit!
