Bar seating with partitions, decent for a date too
The seats were bar-style, but with partitions installed so you feel reasonably separated from the next table, making the meal more comfortable than I expected. It seemed like a fine spot for a date or a quiet meal.

The basic table setting and sauces
Since I'd made a reservation, my seat was already neatly set up when I arrived. The table had mint jelly, mayonnaise, wasabi, cumin salt (jjuran), plain salt, plus gungchae and muchae (seasoned side dishes) all laid out neatly. I liked that with so many sauces and sides, you could enjoy the lamb in a bunch of different styles.

Welcome drink: lemon liquor
Before the meal, they served a welcome drink of lemon liquor. It wasn't too strong, so I could drink it without worry, and the fresh lemon aroma was just right for whetting the appetite. It felt almost as light as lemonade.

Staff grill it for you right at the charcoal fire
The biggest perk of Yangnam Yanghwa is that staff grill the meat directly in front of you over a charcoal fire. Even if you're not confident grilling meat yourself, there's nothing to worry about. They cook it to the perfect doneness, cut it into nice bite-sized pieces, and plate it beautifully, so the whole meal felt effortless. The dishes I was most looking forward to that day were the premium lamb ribs and the T-bone steak.

Premium lamb ribs
First, the lamb ribs were impressively juicy yet tender. The distinctive lamb smell was mild rather than overpowering, so even someone who doesn't usually eat lamb could give this a try. The charcoal aroma added a deeper nuttiness, and it was delicious even with just a light dip of salt.

T-bone steak
The T-bone steak had a rich meaty flavor that grew stronger the more you chewed. The outside was crisply seared while the inside stayed moist, giving it a really nice texture. A touch of wasabi kept it clean and refreshing, and pairing it with jjuran (cumin salt) brought out the lamb's distinctive charm even more.

All-you-can-eat means going back for seconds
Since it's all-you-can-eat, you don't just get to try each dish once — you can enjoy it as much as you like. After trying both the T-bone and the rib meat, I was so satisfied that I got a refill of each. The grilled vegetables and fruit were also amazing!

Extra orders: garlic rice and bibim noodles
Eating just meat felt like it was missing something, so I ordered garlic rice and bibim noodles (spicy mixed noodles) as well, and both were satisfying. The garlic rice, fragrant with roasted garlic, went really well with the charcoal-grilled lamb, and the sweet-and-tangy bibim noodles cut through the richness of the meat in a way that kept me reaching for more.

Pairing it with a highball
Partway through the meal I found myself craving a highball, so I ordered one, and it paired well with the lamb as expected. A cool sip of highball alongside meat full of charcoal aroma made the whole meal even more satisfying.

Even dessert, served like a proper course
At the end, dessert was served too, giving the meal a clean finish. Being able to enjoy everything from meat to dessert like a full course made for a satisfying meal. If you want a special meal in Mullae, want to enjoy premium lamb all-you-can-eat, or are hunting for a good Yeongdeungpo restaurant serving lamb, I'd recommend giving this place a visit. Being able to eat as much lamb as you like makes this a spot lamb lovers in particular will enjoy.
