📍A valley feel in the middle of Isu Station. A Korean bar serving whole muddy roasted duck and traditional liquor.
I came back to Ari Gyegok after a while! It's my go-to spot since I love duck, and it's a Korean bar near Isu Station with a traditional vibe. Water actually flows inside the restaurant, so eating there feels a bit like being in a utopian valley, and on nice days like these the terrace glass walls open up so it feels like an outdoor pojangmacha (street tent bar) too, haha. I heard there were new menu items so I came to check them out — let me introduce them!

Ari Gyegok is a bar, but the exterior doesn't give off a pojangmacha vibe at all. It's more of a traditional Korean bar concept, but quite casual, so it works well for dates or gatherings. It's tucked inside the Isu Station food alley, but the exterior is pretty flashy so it stands out :)

Ari Gyegok's atmosphere leans more toward friend gatherings, drinking sessions, and work dinners than a quiet date spot. In the evening it's pretty lively, and since it's mostly table seating, it seems good for small groups of 2–4 people 🤭 As you can see below, you can also get that outdoor tent-bar feel, and the walls decorated with traditional infused liquors add to the mood, haha.
