Pizza and three craft beers for two in Isu, Seoul: Raymond Isu Branch
In short
Raymond Isu Branch is a pizza-and-craft-beer pub near Isu Station (Chongshin University Entrance) in Dongjak, Seoul. Two friends shared a Spicy Fusilli pizza at 8,900 won, a Pepperoni pizza at 7,500 won and truffle fries at 9,900 won with three craft beers — pilsner lager, Vienna lager and peanut porter ale — and the dough, baked on a 300-degree stone, stayed crisp to the last slice. The pilsner lager was the cleanest and nuttiest of the three, so Raymond Isu Branch is an easy recommendation for pizza and beer near Isu.

My friend and I were trying to figure out what to eat near Isu Station and decided on pizza and beer 🍕🍺 I'd had my eye on Raymond Isu Branch from back when I used to work out near Isu Station regularly. They sell big American-style pizzas, but they've also got a huge lineup of beers. The pizza is great, but honestly the beer here is insane...

What is Raymond Isu Branch? 50cm American-style pizza and craft beer
Raymond Isu Branch is a pizza-and-beer spot near Isu Station serving big American-style pizzas alongside a variety of craft beers (🍕+🍺). The pizza stands out for its crispy dough, and the large size is a whopping 50cm, great for sharing with a group.

If you make a Naver reservation, they give you a coupon for one free item—fries, cheese nachos, or a drink. Make sure to book through Naver before you go 🥺
Inside Raymond Isu Branch: interior and seating
The vibe at Raymond Isu Branch feels less like a typical pizza place and more like a pizza pub made for having a beer! Since they sell those big American-style pizzas, the whole place had a casual, relaxed feel.

It's a perfect spot for a couple or two friends to come share a couple of small pizzas and a beer. They've got several different table types, so it also seems like it could easily handle a group work dinner haha.
They had baseball playing too ^ ^ !!! Mixed feelings about that... I should come back next season for pizza, beer, and baseball ⚾️ If they'd had the Lotte game on I would've gotten annoyed all over again, but thankfully it was a different team 🥲
Raymond Isu Branch menu and lunch set
Raymond Isu Branch isn't just pizza—they have a pretty wide range of side dishes too, from chicken to tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) to pasta to fries.

One thing I really liked is that every menu item comes with a nice little description. Since they have a lot of signature items, the names alone can be a bit unclear, but the descriptions made it easy to choose even if you're not that familiar with pizza or beer. Loved that attention to detail..ㅠ_ㅠ

They also sell a lunch set! It comes with one pizza and fries, which seems like it would be plenty filling. Because a single slice is enormous,,,

How crisp is dough baked on a 300-degree stone?
Raymond's pizza feels totally different from your typical soft, fluffy pizza dough. It's heated on a stone at around 300 degrees, so the bottom of the dough comes out genuinely crispy. Take one bite and it's crunch! ! Even after a good while, the dough didn't go soggy at all—the crisp texture held up, which I loved.

The pizza was so big we split it in half. Cutting it, you could actually hear the crunch,,, hurry up and get to my mouth 🤤

Spicy Fusilli pizza, 8,900 won
🍕 Spicy Fusilli — personally the best pizza I had that day! It's topped with fusilli, a type of pasta noodle, and it was just the right amount of spicy with a slight sweetness. The red onions on top added a crunchy bite that balanced out what could've been a soft texture, and the hint of cheesy aroma tied it all together perfectly. I want to eat it again ㅠ_ㅠ

Pepperoni pizza, 7,500 won
🍕 Pepperoni — since we came for American-style pizza, we had to order a pepperoni!! Salty pepperoni with nutty cheese on top—the flavor itself is familiar. But paired with Raymond's signature thin, crispy dough, it was so~~~ much better.

Truffle fries, 9,900 won
🍟 Truffle Fries — the truffle scent wasn't overpowering, just subtle, which made it easy to keep reaching for more. The fries themselves were salty, which paired really well with the craft beer. Since the truffle aroma isn't too strong, even people who don't usually love heavy truffle flavor should be fine with these.
Three craft beers: pilsner lager, Vienna lager and peanut porter ale
🍺 On top of the pizza, Raymond also has quite a wide lineup of craft beers. Everything from lagers to porters, so it's fun to pick a beer to match whichever pizza you're having!!

That day we tried three total: Pilsner Lager, Vienna Lager, and Peanut Butter Porter Ale. I'm normally the type who just has one draft beer to fit the mood ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ but these were so good I kept ordering more. The beer here is just unbeatable,,,
They really know their beer here ㅠㅠㅠ The pilsner lager is so good, you absolutely have to try it,,, 🥺 I had no idea going in that this place was this good for beer, so I ordered my first one at 600ml—ended up regretting it, thinking I should've ordered several 400ml ones instead.

Is it enough food for two? Final verdict on Raymond Isu Branch

Raymond was also great on portion size. With two pizzas, sides, and beer, it was plenty for two women!! I've said it a hundred times in this post already, but the beer is genuinely delicious, so I really want to recommend this as a go-to pizza and beer spot near Isu.
