In short
Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space is a salad bowl and poke restaurant on Yeonmujang 1-gil in Seongdong, Seoul. Visiting with her sister, the writer ordered the Yeona Bowl (13,200 won), the Steak Bowl (13,200 won) and Tomato Soup (7,500 won), tasting the garlic scape mixer, hummus and sauteed mushrooms along the way. Nothing at Le Vegie Wang tasted heavy or overseasoned, yet the bowls were filling and easy on the stomach — a solid healthy meal in Seongsu.

Healthy and full of freshness — a beloved salad bowl spot in Seongsu

I was craving something light and healthy, so I went looking for good spots in Seongsu and found this place! Let me introduce Le Vegie Wang, famous as a salad bowl restaurant in Seongsu.

What does the name Le Vegie Wang mean, and where do you park on Yeonmujang-gil?
Le Vegie Wang is located on the 1st floor of 15-1 Yeonmujang 1-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The name was so unique I looked it up on Instagram — apparently 'Vegie Wang' means 'vegetable king' 🥕 but now with a 'Le' added on 🤣 isn't that just adorable haha.
There's parking for about 3–4 cars in front of the store, but it's best to call ahead first! The alleys in Seongsu are narrow, so I'd recommend taking public transit ㅠㅠ

Inside Le Vegie Wang Seongsu Space: the wood-toned interior
The inside is decorated in wood tones, so it feels clean, and the seats are spaced far enough apart that it's great for chatting. I quickly snapped some interior shots while there weren't many customers!

Thanks to the cozy, relaxed atmosphere, this place also seems great for a date or a blind date in Seongsu, or just catching up with friends over some chat.

The kitchen is an open kitchen with a kitschy feel, and honestly the friendly vibe from the staff alone is already healing 🌿 Plus there are board games tucked into a corner of the shop! Nice touch 👍

Le Vegie Wang menu and prices
Here's the Le Vegie Wang menu board. I heard they recently added a new item too (Pork Bowl, ₩12,500). There was also an English menu for international visitors!

We ordered the Yeona Bowl (₩13,200), Steak Bowl (₩13,200), and Tomato Soup (₩7,500). The salad bowls are Le Vegie Wang's signature menu, and the ingredients are listed in detail on the menu board, which made it easy to choose. Besides salad bowls, there's also salad pasta, sandwiches, curry, and more — plus vegan options for anyone who eats vegetarian.

Our order came out all at once! The colors were so vibrant I couldn't not take a picture 🥑

Yeona Bowl (13,200 won): the garlic scape mixer is the highlight
My salmon-loving sister ordered the Yeona Bowl! It's packed with oat rice, leafy greens, raw salmon, grapefruit sauce, avocado, tomato, boiled egg, and a garlic scape mixer (garlic scape pesto, olives, lentils, paprika, and green beans). The savory salmon combined with the crunchy, popping texture of the garlic scape mixer got that true 'this is good' eyebrow scrunch going the second we took a bite..👏👏

The garlic scape mixer was really unique — the fresh, fragrant aroma of the garlic scapes blended smoothly with the salmon without overpowering it 👍

If you're tired of ranch or soy-based sauces on your salmon poke, you really need to try this one 😆

Steak Bowl (13,200 won): hummus and sauteed mushrooms are the kick
Here's the Steak Bowl I ordered! Like the Yeona Bowl, it comes with oat rice and leafy greens, plus skirt steak, sauteed mushrooms, green beans, tomato, and hummus — all finished off with oriental dressing.

At first I didn't realize it was hummus — I just kept reaching for this savory thing that looked like potato salad, thinking it was delicious, and when I got curious and looked it up... it turned out to be hummus! Hummus is totally my style 🤍 It's a chickpea-based dip popular in the Middle East, and I'd wanted to try it ever since seeing it on a travel YouTube channel a while back.

The rice looked like oat-turmeric rice(?), giving off that healthy feeling 💛 The steak was cooked to a nice medium-well.
The sauteed mushrooms are the kick in the Steak Bowl! Le Vegie Wang's salad bowls are seasoned pretty mildly overall, but the sauteed mushrooms add depth of flavor that made it so delicious. Not overpowering, yet still healthy, and somehow so umami — I totally get why everyone comes here 😋

Tomato Soup (7,500 won): the side to add once the weather turns cold
And then there's the tomato soup, perfect for the chillier season! 🍅 It's made with tomato, onion, sweet potato, carrot, and king oyster mushroom, topped generously with granola.
One spoonful of the tomato soup and you get the sweetness of the carrot, the tanginess of the tomato, and the softness of the sweet potato all coming together — total taste of autumn..! If you visit Le Vegie Wang as the season changes, I highly recommend ordering the tomato soup alongside your meal 🫶

Is a salad bowl at Le Vegie Wang actually filling?
I worried the portion might be small since it's a salad bowl, but it was genuinely filling, and more than anything, easy on the stomach (which matters more and more as you get older..! 🌟) It's the kind of meal you can enjoy anytime without any guilt. If you're looking for a filling, healthy, delicious meal in Seongsu, I highly recommend 'Le Vegie Wang' 🫶
