Salmon bowl, 13,200 won: raw salmon with garlic scape pesto mixer

The salmon bowl is built on oat rice and leafy greens, topped with raw salmon, grapefruit sauce, avocado, tomato, boiled egg, and comes with a garlic scape mixer (마늘쫑, garlic flower stalk) on the side.

The salmon felt fresh with no fishy taste at all.

The avocado was well-ripened and super soft. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, and the tomato and other produce all had a lively texture too.

I was really curious about the garlic scape mixer since it was my first time trying it — apparently it's made with garlic scape pesto, olives, lentils, paprika, and green beans. I expected some sharp bite because of the garlic scape, but there was none of that at all. If anything, the texture and flavor were soft like avocado, which made it great to eat together with the oat rice and vegetables.
Green smoothie, 6,500 won: filling enough to replace a meal?
The green smoothie is made with avocado, banana, apple, kale, green grape syrup, and milk. Swapping the milk for soy milk costs an extra ₩500.

At first I thought it'd just be a light drink, but it was filling enough to work as a simple meal substitute. With avocado and banana in it, the overall texture was smooth and easy to drink.
Even with the green grape syrup, it wasn't overly sweet — more of a natural sweetness from the fruit, which I liked. So it was the kind of healthy drink you could reach for guilt-free when you're craving a sweet, dessert-like smoothie.
