Jamsil sandwich shop window seats for a couple's lunch: Town Sandwich

I've been going to Jamsil a lot lately, and this time I visited a well-known sandwich spot, Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch. Town Sandwich is a baguette sandwich specialist that carefully prepares everything fresh every day, famous as one of Jamsil's best baguette places — the jambon-beurre sandwich, grilled chicken bánh mì, and soup are all excellent here.

Where is Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, and when is it open?

Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, a well-loved Jamsil sandwich spot, sits 420 meters from Exit 9 of Jamsil Station.

I liked that there are menu photos right at the entrance, so you can decide what to order before even stepping in. The sandwich-and-drink set and the sandwich-and-soup set get ₩1,000 off, and the all-in-one set with sandwich, soup, and drink together gets ₩2,000 off.

Inside Town Sandwich Jamsil: two-person tables and window seats

Stepping inside, you find a cozy but clean space with about four two-person tables,

and on one side there's a bar table set up for solo diners.

If you sit near the window, the lush green view through the floor-to-ceiling glass is pretty nice too.

Ordering at the kiosk and the prize draw event

There's a no-miss prize draw event going on — you can take part just by buying a sandwich. Prizes include an all-in-one set, a sandwich, soup, an americano, or free toppings, so make sure to join!

On one side there's a self-service bar with Town Sandwich mugs and glasses on display.

There's also a prepay event, and apparently group sandwich orders are possible too.

Next to that were Town Sandwich stickers, cup holders, and wet wipes.

You order at the kiosk to the right of the entrance. They're also running a Naver receipt review event — take part after buying a sandwich and get a free iced tea.

How did the Town Sandwich and truffle jambon-beurre taste?

We ordered the Town Sandwich, the truffle jambon-beurre sandwich, and an iced americano.

The Town Sandwich I ordered: well-toasted baguette bread packed with fresh lettuce, jambon-beurre, tomato, and a slice of cheddar cheese.

The sandwich comes cut in half, and it was clean and fresh with no unnecessary extras — really delicious to eat.

This jambon-beurre sandwich had a strong truffle aroma — it actually felt even cleaner-tasting than the basic Town Sandwich, and the combination of truffle and jambon-beurre worked really well.

The coffee had good aroma too and tasted fresh — a really nice americano.

Is Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch worth a visit?

Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, known for its jambon-beurre sandwich — the sandwiches felt so fresh and clean that it was almost like eating something healthy. On a nice-weather day like this, I feel like packing sandwiches to go and having a picnic by the Han River would be perfect!
