Seocho burger restaurant with pretzel buns and thick fries: Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch is a handmade burger restaurant in Seocho, Seoul. On a Sunday lunch visit, I tried the bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel bun with 18 mm fries, plus a chicken burger and fried eggplant with green mayo. Verdict: a worthwhile stop near Gyodae Station for a seriously substantial burger.

I came to Daily Fix while looking for a proper handmade burger near Gyodae Station. It’s the burger place praised by Tzuyang and Kang Min-kyung—does it live up to that reputation?

A hip restaurant atmosphere on Sunday lunch
We visited for Sunday lunch. It was a handmade burger place with a hip exterior—easy to spot from afar, with lots of pop-style touches.

Inside Daily Fix was hip and neat, too.

The counter area has a clearly divided flow. There are separate routes for takeaway and dining in, which was convenient.

I liked that there were lots of seating options: tables for two and four, bar seating, and group tables.

There was premium whiskey and Daily Fix tumblers, too. 🥃

Draft beer taps are installed at the bar. Overall, it was clean and modern. 🍹
Tablet ordering and the menu
You order using the tablet at each table. I could also scan the QR code to view the menu on my phone.

Such a wide variety of burgers! You can add a pretzel bun, and there are chicken and beer options that would make good snacks, too. The side-dish section was nicely put together, and besides soft drinks, there were milkshakes as well.

There is a tidy self-service bar by the entrance. Water bottles, paper cups, and pickles are all neatly arranged.
Pretzel-bun bacon cheeseburger and 18 mm fries
What I ordered was, right-right-right....
- Chicken Burger ₩11,900
- Fried Eggplant ₩12,900
- Bacon Cheese ₩19,700
- + Change the burger bun to a pretzel bun
- + 18 Fries Set (18 mm fries)
For the bacon cheeseburger, I chose the pretzel-bun option and the thick 18 mm fries option.

Kang Min-kyung apparently raved about it, so I ordered the bacon cheeseburger without hesitation. For ₩900 extra, switching to a pretzel bun made both the aroma and the look even better. Haha.

I wondered how thick 18 mm would be, but these fries were about the size of my knife and fork!!! Approved.

The thick patty and cheese are packed in so densely—it is on another level from an ordinary chain burger, right? Perhaps because it is a 100% Korean beef patty, the thickness is exceptional and the meaty aroma is intense. The salty bacon works beautifully with it, too.

Spicy chicken burger and fried eggplant
The second item I tried was the chicken burger. Its star is a fried chicken-thigh patty, crisp outside and juicy inside. It is seriously thick, isn’t it?

It comes piled high with house-made coleslaw. The first taste is spicy, then it finishes nutty and savory. It was a spicy chicken burger with really well-seasoned chicken. 😉
The side I had been curious about was the fried eggplant: big, thick pieces of whole eggplant.

And the special green mayo sauce that comes with it!!! It was such a treat that I wanted to buy some to take home.

Dip generously, and juicy eggplant bursts inside the coating—crisp outside, juicy inside, juicy juicy! 🍟
I loved that the cold cola came with unlimited refills. 🥤

It was so good that we finished our Gyodae lunch without leaving a thing. 👍

This is a place where the substantial flavor of a 150 g Korean beef patty and handmade ingredients come together wonderfully. If you want a high-quality handmade burger near Gyodae Station, it will be worth the trip. ✨

Next time, I should come during evening happy hour and enjoy a burger with a beer. 😉
