Date-night poke dinner near Gyodae Station: smoked duck at Salering

Today I'm bringing you a poke spot near Gyodae Station! 🥗💚 I genuinely love poke — I eat it for lunch and for dinner haha — and this time I came for a light poke dinner as part of managing my boyfriend's diet!

Where is Salering Gyodae, and what are its hours and parking?

Salering is a poke place near Gyodae Station. We came by car, and since parking is available right in front of the store, we could park easily and head in for dinner.

I've eaten plenty of poke for lunch near the office, but this was my first time coming all the way to Gyodae Station for poke! My poke map keeps expanding..!!!! Since I eat a heavy lunch and try to keep dinner light on the stomach, I find myself craving poke a lot lately!! And once I'm into something I tend to eat it until I'm sick of it, so I guess I end up going often haha.

Inside the shop and what's on the menu

As soon as you walk in, the greenery of the interior welcomes you 🌿 True to a salad-and-poke specialty store, everything feels green and clean, which puts you in a healthy mood. The inside was kept tidy, and the atmosphere didn't feel awkward for eating alone either. You can order at the kiosk or directly at the counter!

Looking at the menu, there were way more options than I expected. There's salads, poke, soup, sandwiches, drinks, and slim-pack lunchboxes! For main toppings, there's chicken breast, smoked duck, beef brisket, jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork), salmon, steak, and more!

There was a time when I tried a different combo every visit, but these days I'm stuck on smoked duck and only order that 😊 My boyfriend, though, went for the steak plus salmon combo! There are a lot of new sauces here that are fun to try, so even if you order the same menu every time, switching up the sauce makes it feel different!!!

My boyfriend came here for diet management, but I just tagged along because I love poke — and it was so good!!🙋🏻‍♀️ It's especially great that you can manage your diet while on a date!! A satisfying menu for two people to share together!

Besides salads and poke, there are also sandwiches, wraps, and more, so it seemed like a good place to grab a simple meal even without ordering poke. Great for lunch, great for dinner!!!

Getting there from Gyodae Station, and who this poke spot suits

What I liked most personally was the easy access from Gyodae Station and the fact that parking is available right in front. It seems great for office workers near Gyodae for lunch, and I'd also recommend it to anyone looking for something not too heavy for dinner, like us :)
