A poke spot that's easy to eat light after work near Gyodae Station
Salering is a great poke and salad spot near Gyodae Station for a light lunch or dinner 🥗 Since it stays open into the evening, I stopped by after work when I wanted something that wouldn't feel too heavy.

A vibe that works well for solo dining
The store had a bright, green-toned atmosphere 🌿 Both delivery and takeout are available, and I came in person to pick up my order — there were tables of friends together, but plenty of solo diners too. It's a great spot to eat alone.

The menu: poke, pasta, and rice bowls
The main menu is broadly poke, pasta, and rice bowls. I don't think I've seen a poke place selling rice bowls before, and it's great when you want something more filling. There's also beer and wine, so it's nice for a light drink too! 🍷

How to order: choosing your base and dressing
Once you've picked a menu item, you move on to choosing options. You decide whether to add extra toppings, then choose a base from brown rice with barley, whole wheat pasta, vegetables only, or egg strips, and finally pick a dressing to complete the order.

Review perk and prepaid rewards
Write a Naver receipt photo review and you get a free Americano — don't miss it! There's also a prepay option where charging ₩100,000, ₩200,000, or ₩300,000 gets you an extra 8–12% back, so if you're a regular it might be worth charging up in advance for a discount.

I took the food to go and made it home via subway and bus (a bit of a journey), and it arrived sturdy with no leaks.

Real raw salmon bibim poke
First up is the real raw salmon bibim poke. There are so many colorful ingredients that it's fun to look at before you even eat! All the vegetables were fresh too, juicy and crunchy.

Beyond salmon and rice, it's packed with cabbage, crab stick, egg strips, cherry tomatoes, quail eggs, mushrooms, and flakes. It covers both variety and texture. The rice is apparently a low-calorie brown rice and barley mix made with olive oil, which lowers the glycemic response by 10 times — highly recommended if you're watching your health or dieting.

Gochujang mayo and chili oil dressings
You can pick one dressing per dish. There were so many options I hesitated, but I went with the staff's recommendation 😊 On the left is gochujang mayo, on the right is chili oil.

The chili oil has actual oil in it, so it pairs well with slightly spicy dishes, while gochujang mayo was delicious with the salmon! Normally you're supposed to pour the sauce over everything and mix it like bibimbap, but dipping just the salmon into it was tasty too.

K-jeyuk protein rice bowl
Next is the K-jeyuk protein rice bowl. It's the jeyuk deopbap (spicy stir-fried pork over rice) you'd typically picture, but here the rice is a barley-brown rice mix and the meat is mostly lean cuts.

The stir-fried pork is torched for a smoky char that adds great savoriness, and it's a little spicy without being greasy. Since it's mostly lean meat, I could enjoy the pork without worrying about weight gain, which felt like a nice bonus 😋
Wrap-up
Among the poke, pasta, rice bowl, and salad options, the fun of customizing toppings and sauces means you can pick whatever you're craving that day, and with beer and wine on hand it's also great for a light drink. Thanks to the friendly owner, I left in an even better mood. If you're looking for a good poke and salad spot near Gyodae Station, I'd recommend Salering Gyodae Direct Store~! 🥗
