Low-carb poke bowl in Seocho, Seoul: Meat All-in-One at Salering
In short
Salering Gyodae Direct Store is a bibim poke restaurant a 2-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gyodae Station in Seocho, Seoul. The Meat All-in-One bibim poke was ordered with the mixed-vegetable base only for a low-carb meal, paired with a Green Cleanse Juice, and the signature Salering bibim sauce had a quiet heat that built up from behind, just under Jin Ramen Spicy. Most people go for a regular lunch or dinner, but if you're on a diet, you're probably looking for a salad or a poke bowl, right? Today I'm introducing Salering Gyodae Direct Store, a great spot near Gyodae Station for a healthy salad meal. This is my honest, first-hand review :)

Salering Gyodae opening hours
Salering Gyodae is open weekdays from 8:15 AM to 9:00 PM (last order 8:30 PM), and weekends from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM (last order 7:30 PM). Since it stays open late into the evening, it's a good option for dinner too.

Inside Salering: solo seats with phone stands

Here's the interior of Salering Gyodae Direct Store. There are plenty of tables, so I didn't need to worry about finding a seat, and

there were plenty of solo seats for people like me eating alone, with phone stands right at the table — great for watching YouTube while eating.
What's on the Salering menu

The signature dish is bibim poke, and there's also protein pasta, protein rice bowls, sandwiches, and more.

They also had coffee, cleanse juices, and other drinks to go along with the meal — and I noticed they even sell beer and wine.
Meat All-in-One bibim poke with a mixed-vegetable base only
I ordered the Meat All-in-One bibim poke and a Green Cleanse Juice.

When you order bibim poke, you can choose your base from brown rice and barley, whole wheat pasta, mixed vegetables, or shredded egg. I went with mixed vegetables only, for a low-carb meal.

Then you have to decide on a dressing. The signature is the Salering bibim sauce, and they also recommend specific dressings for each poke, which is worth checking. Naturally, I went with the Salering bibim sauce. Apparently it's on the spicier side, though — if you can't handle spice, go for the ones without the chili pepper icon.
How spicy is the Salering bibim sauce, and how was the meat cooked?

My Meat All-in-One bibim poke and Green Cleanse Juice arrived.

True to the name Meat All-in-One, I was surprised at how much meat was piled in there. The bowl was big too when I picked it up, so it seemed like it would make a satisfying, filling meal.

This is the signature Salering bibim sauce, which you pour over the poke like this, and then

mix it all together well.

Once mixed with the Salering bibim sauce, the poke tasted almost like a Korean bibimbap (mixed rice bowl). The spice level was around Jin Ramen spicy or just a touch below. It wasn't strong right away — more like a mild heat that built up slowly afterward.

The beef brisket was cooked well, with a nice nutty flavor when I chewed it,

and the pork shoulder steak was sliced thick enough to really feel the texture, which made it delicious. That cut can easily turn dry, but it was cooked just right. The vegetables were fresh too, with no wilted parts.
Green Cleanse Juice
And then there's the Green Cleanse Juice! It's made with green grapes, kale, wheatgrass, apple, lemon, and ginger,

and it had that fresh, green herbal note you get from kale and wheatgrass, with a light, refreshing taste that I really liked.
The verdict in one line
So that's my honest review of Salering Gyodae Direct Store, a great salad restaurant near Gyodae Station! 📌 To sum it up in a few lines,
- ✅ A 2-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gyodae Station
- ✅ Open into the evening, so it works for both lunch and dinner
- ✅ The meat is cooked just right and the vegetables are fresh, for a healthy meal
I'm not really someone who eats a heavy dinner, so finding a good diet-friendly poke spot like this is genuinely precious to me. The poke here is a bibim poke, so I got to enjoy that familiar bibimbap flavor while still eating light — I really loved it.
