Every time I passed by while walking along Gyeongui Line Forest Park, this burger place caught my eye because it was always packed..... And here it is, ta-da!! Right by the station. Such a good location. Perfect for a park walk, a burger, then picking one of the pretty cafés nearby...

The building is flashy too, so it is easy to find haha. I thought they used the whole building, but the restaurant is only on the first floor. Haha. They take Seoul Pay, Zero Pay, and Onnuri Gift Certificates too!!!! Looking up and remembering to use these local-payment and gift-certificate affiliates is quietly a hassle, so it seems nice and easy to use them here. Good.

A kitschy, hip interior and QR ordering

Even ordering is hip: tag / QR...!!!! So convenient.

Ordering the Bacon Deluxe and Chipotle Spicy burgers

Everything looked delicious, so it took us a while to choose.... We ordered the Bacon Deluxe Burger, Chipotle Spicy Burger, fries, drinks, and chili cheese sticks!!! Honestly, I wanted the chili cheese sticks, searched online, saw the great reviews, and came here haha.

What I am sad I missed this time..... the Shrimp Burger (the shrimp patty got amazing reviews too!!), the vanilla shake, corn ribs (every table had them.. except ours............ㅜ), and draft beer....... (they were running a buy-one-get-one event....... I will have to come back for weekend lunch sometime!!!)

Unlimited drink refills and a self-service bar

At the self-service bar, you can freely grab small plates, forks, knives, tissues, wet wipes, gloves, and hot sauce, and the drinks have unlimited refills!!!! There is no one-order-per-person rule, which was nice and took the pressure off.......... They even have Tams Orange, pineapple, and Mountain Dew.. wow.

They even have a ketchup station and a business-card event. Haha.

Chili cheese sticks dipped in ranch sauce

Ta-da, our order finally came out. Everything was even bigger than I expected hahaha. First things first, we dove into the cheese sticks right away.

Streeeeeeeeeeetch.... The cheese sticks are seriously insanely delicious.. Dip them deeply in ranch sauce and you might faint..... They would go so well with beer, so I think I will definitely need to come back haha.

Since chili cheese sticks became popular, I have tried them at a few other places, but these were the best!!!! The coating was great, the cheese was nutty and delicious, and the ranch sauce was just right!! When you soak them generously, it is not at all heavy... yum yum yum yum yum. The gloves made them easy to eat too. Haha.

I wondered, who is this monkey? Haha... Apparently, Bored & Hungry is a brand from California in the United States!!!!......... Shocking. Not your ordinary burger place, wow. They say it is the burger place Snoop Dogg fell for. Wow.

Gently spicy burgers and Cajun fries

My friend's Chipotle Spicy Burger had a gentle kick; if you want it spicier, there was hot sauce at the self-service bar, so that would be good to add!! The Bacon Deluxe Burger I ate...... goes without saying that the patty and bun were delicious, but compared with this kind of handmade burger place, it also had loads of fresh vegetables, which made it even tastier. Such a generously filled burger.

And the fries were not ordinary fries either; they were Cajun fries!!!!! From now on, when I want a burger, I think I will come to Bored & Hungry instead of going far away... Even though we visited on a weekday evening, it was nearly full and people kept coming in. As a burger-loving person who has eaten lots of handmade burgers, I highly, highly recommend it. Especially the cheese sticks.... Please make sure to try them... Highly recommended. Haha.
