Pasta restaurant in Seocho, Seoul for a first date: Pasta Trio

Today, I was craving pasta near Nonhyeon Station, so I went to Pasta Trio. I found it while looking for a good pasta spot in Gangnam, and the menu had quite a variety, from pasta and risotto to dessert. It is also known as a good spot for blind dates, so I was curious about the atmosphere—and after visiting, I thought it would indeed be nice for a date or blind date too ✨

How close is it to Nonhyeon Station, and is parking available?

📍 Pasta Trio About 3 minutes from Exit 5 of Nonhyeon Station! It is not far from the subway station, so it was easy enough to visit by public transport. Unfortunately, there is no parking available at the restaurant, but they can direct you to nearby alternative parking, so keep that in mind.

A restaurant atmosphere suited to a blind-date meal

When I stepped inside, the restaurant felt clean and cozy overall! Rather than being too noisy or casual, it had the kind of atmosphere where you could comfortably talk over a meal, so I could see why people often come here for gatherings or blind dates. We all know restaurant lighting matters too, right..? 🙈❣️

And on one side, I spotted so many autographs! Apparently, it is also known as a place visited by broadcaster Lee Young-ja. With so many signatures, I started wondering whether this was secretly quite a famous restaurant—and it made me even more excited, haha.

Rich carbonara pasta

First up was the rich carbonara pasta I had been looking forward to! Just as its name suggests, the sauce was quite thick and clung beautifully to the noodles. Twirling up the pasta with the nutty, smooth cream sauce, I could really taste that rich sauce. If you like carbonara, this is an easy, reliably tasty choice.

Spicy rosé risotto

Next was the spicy rosé risotto! It combined rosé sauce's characteristically smooth, creamy flavor with a little kick of spice. If you keep eating only cream-based dishes, they can get a bit rich, but the occasional spicy note kept me reaching for more than I expected, haha. Personally, I thought ordering it with the carbonara and alternating between the two was a good combination.

Finishing the meal with crème brûlée

And dessert is how you finish a meal, of course 🌟 We ordered the crème brûlée too. It was fun to crack open with the little shovel-shaped spoon, and beneath the crisp sugar layer was soft cream, making it a great post-meal dessert. It was just right for ending on a sweet note after the pasta and risotto, haha.

Oh, and the restroom is inside too, which looked convenient to use :)

If you enjoy creamy dishes

With a varied lineup of pasta, risotto, and dessert, Pasta Trio was a nice place to choose dishes to suit your tastes. In particular, if you enjoy smooth, creamy dishes such as rich carbonara or lightly spicy rosé options, it seems worth visiting at least once. Above all, the comfortable atmosphere makes it nice for a meal with friends, and it would suit a date or blind date well too.
