Seocho bar for a cozy second round with craft beer: Weizenhaus

After an exciting round of board games and a delicious meal, we were still not ready to call it a night, so we looked for a light second spot. Everyone was craving beer and pizza, so we headed to Weizenhaus, a pizza favorite and craft beer specialist near Sadang Station. Weizenhaus Bangbae Branch 1 is right in front of Exit 11 of Sadang Station.

Even from far away, the huge sign makes it instantly obvious that this is a craft beer place, haha. The sparkling yellow lights really catch your eye.

From the entrance, it had this vintage, cozy feeling like you were walking into a basement hideout, and I loved it... ♥ I am sooo into this kind of concept ♥

What is the atmosphere like inside Weizenhaus near Sadang Station?

The interior was much bigger than I expected!! The overall dim lighting makes it easy to chat in an even more relaxed and lively atmosphere. Even though we visited around 9 p.m. on a Sunday, it was absolutely packed. You can really feel the popularity of this Sadang Station beer-and-pizza favorite. Yep, this really is the place for beer and pizza near Sadang Station ><

There are so many tables, plus little cozy areas here and there with low ceilings, so it genuinely feels like gathering in a snug hideout to chat away.

They even had chairs like the ones from old-school classrooms, haha. It was fun just looking around~ We grabbed a spot in the corner with a sofa~ Such a nice vibe, such a nice vibe~~

Craft beer and arugula wood-fired pizza

As you would expect from a great craft beer spot, there are so many kinds of beer. There are sweet drinks too, along with lager, stout, ale, and more, so it is so fun to choose according to your taste. Even my friend who cannot really drink ordered a highball and enjoyed it!

Weizenhaus's real kicker is the wood-fired pizza!! There were so many delicious-looking pizzas I wanted to try, as well as lots of tempting bar snacks, but since we had eaten a filling first meal, we ordered the arugula pizza lightly(?) hahaha. That counts as light, right?!

A refreshing ale and stout! They were so delicious, just as you would hope at a craft beer bar ♥ Even the crispy shrimp chips that came as the basic snack had already passed the test!

While we were sipping our craft beer, the pizza arrived. Weizenhaus's house wood-fired pizza looked different from the start. It was such an excellent pizza piled high with fresh ingredients that I was disappointed the lighting did not capture all its real-life color in the photos. The pizza came out looking a bit dark, so sad ㅠㅠ

I cannot believe this gorgeousness was captured only like this—I blame my photo skills... ㅠㅠㅠ

The cheese stretched and stretched—exactly the look and taste I wanted, you know.

Hahahaha, my younger sibling was eating the pizza so happily that I took a photo because it was too cute, and then their boyfriend wanted the photo, haha. Even I think this one is pretty cute. And look at that pizza cheese stretching, hahaha.

Indoor restroom and why it is great for a second round

There is an indoor restroom too! One subtly important thing when choosing a bar: a clean restroom! You really end up going often when you drink beer, and Weizenhaus gets a passing grade for its restroom too.

We had such a fun time chatting over beer and pizza at Weizenhaus near Sadang Station—the atmosphere was comfortable, the seats were spacious, and the lighting was cozy! I would highly recommend it when you want a casual beer near Sadang Station or a comfortable place for a second round!

The subway was close too, so getting home was super easy! Meanwhile, look at my sibling and their partner walking home holding hands so sweetly~~ Nice to see...(somehow lonely) hahaha. Still, it was such a fun day!
