Unlimited dakgalbi is ₩20,000 and unlimited alcohol is ₩10,000. Since a single drink is ₩5,000, you'd need to drink more than 2 bottles per person to come out ahead. Now that I'm getting older, I'm not sure it's actually a good deal for me anymore haha. The self-serve bar was kept nice and clean.

There were 6 kinds of meat total, including pork belly alongside the dakgalbi.

And the self-serve bar also had a variety of side dishes and sauces that go well with the meat.

On top of that, there's chicken too. Even with the 2-hour time limit, it felt like it could easily cover a second round of drinks. Counting it that way, at ₩30,000 per person, the value felt really excellent.

So the table was set with a big spread. I ended up being the one to grill the meat.

I once learned from a whole-chicken-dakgalbi expert that you should grill the lean meat first, not the skin. (Not totally sure why.) Anyway, here's the dakgalbi grilled nicely.

Chicken really does have less fat and a clean taste — it was delicious.

My friends tend to tease a lot, but as they ate they kept saying "this is good," "nice pick," which made me secretly proud. The chicken quality was pretty solid too.

Eating in between while the dakgalbi grilled meant we could keep the drinking going without any downtime.

We wrapped some in lettuce too. Eating chicken thigh meat with vegetables is basically a diet meal at this point. (Let's not talk about the chicken part, haha.)

We finished with gochujang dakgalbi. Eating the salt-grilled version first and then the seasoned one really does feel like the right order. There was also fried rice and instant tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes) available.

We're the type who just goes hard on meat only, so we'll save those for next time.
