Guro dakgalbi restaurant with unlimited soju: Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi

In short

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is an all-you-can-eat meat and drinks restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Huijeon Building, right in front of Guro Digital Complex Station in Seoul. The 2-hour free pass costs 20,500 won for 7 kinds of meat, 2 kinds of chicken, drinks and self-serve fried rice, and 9,900 won more per person adds unlimited soju and draft beer. Grilling the salt-seasoned dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) first, then swapping in a clean grill plate for the marinated chicken and dipping it in cheese powder, was the best combination — a Guro work dinner spot worth going back to.

Dakgalbi grilling on the plate at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi: a Guro group dinner spot recommendation

I heard there was a place near Guro station where you could enjoy all-you-can-eat meat AND drinks, so I went to check out Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi! When I got there, the self-serve bar was packed with so much food, and you could pick whatever meat you wanted to eat. Plus unlimited soju and draft beer! Sharing my honest review after a happy struggle over what to eat first, and coming home stuffed!

Where is Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi in Guro, Seoul?

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is on the 3rd floor of the building with Yeokjeon Grandma Beer. It's right in front of Guro Digital Complex Station, so it's super accessible.

This used to be Sagyejinmi — turns out they just changed the name to Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi!

The location right in front of Guro station is convenient, and there are plenty of spots nearby for a second round after dinner.

You get off the elevator and it connects straight into the restaurant. The interior is huge, with plenty of tables, so it looked totally fine for groups.

The weather's been cool lately, so they had all the windows wide open. Kind of gives off that outdoor tent bar vibe, right? Haha.

How much is the 2-hour all-you-can-eat pass?

Most people seemed to go with the 2-hour free pass. With this pass, you get 7 types of meat, 2 types of chicken, drinks, and fried rice, all for ₩20,500! And if you add just ₩9,900 per person, you get unlimited soju and draft beer too!!

How the self-serve bar at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi works

I was surprised the moment I saw the self-serve bar — there was so much food. I got so excited trying to decide what to eat first, haha.

From basic side dishes to sauces for dipping the meat to lettuce wraps, everything was ready to go.

Fried and soy sauce chicken at the self-serve bar

They even had fried chicken and soy sauce chicken, which made my eyes go wide. And right next to that, self-serve fried rice! There's really so much to eat, right?

Right beside the self-serve bar there's a drinks fridge too. If you're on the drinks free pass, you just grab your own soju from the fridge. Just note bottled beer is excluded!!

You can also get unlimited soft drinks and draft beer. I was really craving a draft beer since it had been a while. So the second I saw it, my friend and I ran over excitedly to pour ourselves some, haha.

Plate of assorted dakgalbi and chicken neck meat

At the meat counter there was salt-grilled, soy sauce, and gochujang dakgalbi, plus chicken neck meat, pork belly, and pork ribs. With such a variety of meat to grill, it was fun picking whatever I felt like eating!

We picked out a variety of dakgalbi and chicken neck meat to bring back to our table! Haha.

Grill salt-seasoned chicken first, then swap the plate for marinated dakgalbi

There's a grilling order tip for the dakgalbi at Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi — you should grill the salt-seasoned or chicken neck meat before the seasoned dakgalbi, so the grill plate doesn't burn!

Following the tip, we grilled the salt-seasoned dakgalbi and chicken neck meat first.

It was thick-cut and tasted amazing even plain, with no seasoning at all!

Plate of dakgalbi dipped in various sauces

Since it wasn't seasoned, it went perfectly with all sorts of condiments like salt, kimchi, and pickled onion! My personal favorite was dipping it in salt, haha.

After finishing round one with the salt-grilled meat, we moved straight on to the seasoned dakgalbi. 💡 Tip here! Make sure to swap the grill plate before you start grilling the seasoned meat! We grilled it without changing the plate and the meat burned super fast.

Seasoned dakgalbi is definitely best wrapped in lettuce. And among the sauces at the self-serve bar, you have to try the cheese powder! The combo of the spicy-sweet seasoning and the savory cheese powder is genuinely amazing.

The food went perfectly with unlimited draft beer too — honestly one of the best spots I've been to recently. 100% would go back!!

Finishing with make-your-own tteokbokki and bean sprout fried rice

After eating our fill of meat, we finished up by cooking a proper pot of instant tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes) for dessert! They even let you load it up with ramen noodles, which was great, haha.

And of course, no Korean meal is complete without fried rice at the end, right? Grill bean sprouts on the plate first, then add the rice and stir-fry it on top — you get perfectly golden-brown fried rice! With the bean sprouts in there too, it's nice and crunchy, so definitely try it.

Is Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi a good Guro work dinner spot? Final verdict

It had been a while since I had charcoal-grilled chicken, and it was way more satisfying than I expected!

Final table spread with charcoal-grilled chicken

The self-serve bar food was generous, and being able to enjoy whatever meat and drinks we wanted without worrying kept us excited the whole meal, haha.

Table view with tender dakgalbi on display

The dakgalbi was tender and delicious, and the value for money was perfect too — a really satisfying meal! The restaurant is spacious and both meat and drinks are unlimited, so if you're looking for a group dinner or work dinner spot near Guro station, I highly recommend Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi!!
