In short
Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch is a 24-hour all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building 425m from Gongneung Station Exit 1 in Nowon, Seoul. For 17,900 won per adult, Eongteori serves unlimited thinly sliced pork in 8 cuts plus wrap vegetables, Hangang ramyeon and fried rice — though misreading the Boggeul Boggeul Taeng noodle machine produced one over-salted bowl. I love thick-cut meat, but thinly sliced pork (daepae) has its own charm, so I make sure to eat it regularly. So!!! I went to Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch, the best-value all-you-can-eat BBQ spot near Kwangwoon University. They've got 8 types of meat, and the lineup rotates regularly, so it's a place you just can't stop visiting. Let's get into the review❤️
Where is Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch, and when is it open?
Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch is at 83 Dongil-ro 192-gil, 2nd floor, Nowon-gu, Seoul, just 425m from Gongneung Station Exit 1. It's open daily from 12:00 until 3am the next day, essentially a round-the-clock late-night BBQ spot near Gongneung Station.

Located on the 2nd floor of the building, Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch has a sign so bright it's visible from far away. Since it runs 24 hours, you can go whenever you're craving grilled meat, lettuce wraps, ramyeon, or fried rice.

You take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. The smell of grilling meat was already wafting from the elevator lobby haha

It seems word has gotten out about how good the value is here — there was even a waitlist. Guess it's a waiting-line kind of place.
Inside Eongteori: parking and seating for up to 80
Most of the meat at Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch is from the US or Spain! You know Korean-raised meat is asking a lot at this price~~

There's also a spot where you can charge your phone.
Ice cream is sold for 700 won each, but if you leave customer feedback, they'll give you one free (limit 1 per group).
Here's the wifi, restroom, and parking info! Since the in-building parking lot is small, they recommend using a nearby lot. The closest one is the Woeun Building paid lot, with a base rate of 1,500 won per 30 minutes, another 1,500 won per additional 30 minutes, and a daily max of 20,000 won. During lunch hours (12:00-14:00), you can park on the street in front of the restaurant.
With a warning sign like this, surely nobody's running around inside?
The tables seat 4, and the whole place is huge, fitting up to 80 people! There are seats with tables pushed together for group gatherings, so it'd also be a great spot for a company dinner.
They also have baby chairs, so it's great for family outings too. Disposable aprons were sitting next to the air conditioner.

If you finish your food without leaving anything, they give you a coupon — I'm guessing that includes the side dishes too?ㅠ

Buffet price, sides and unlimited soju at Eongteori
The all-you-can-eat buffet at Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch is 17,900 won for adults, 10,000 won for under 10, and 7,000 won for preschoolers.
- Buffet: adults 17,900 won / under 10 10,000 won / preschoolers 7,000 won
- Sides: doenjang sulbap (soy bean paste rice), bomb-style steamed egg, buldak bokkeummyeon (spicy fire noodles), jjapaguri, bibim myeon, naengmyeon (cold noodles), and more
- Alcohol: soju buffet 5,900 won / single soju 3,000 won
There were also side meal options that go well with meat, like doenjang sulbap, bomb-style steamed egg, buldak bokkeummyeon, jjapaguri, bibim myeon, and naengmyeon. Ramyeon is unlimited at the buffet corner, but raw eggs aren't included separately. If you need an egg, just add it through the table order system!!
Good news for soju lovers. Soju buffet for 5,900 won! The single-order price is also cheap at 3,000 won, so if you can't drink much, I'd recommend ordering single. But note you can't switch from single order to the buffet afterward.

Give the usage guide a read too~ Regular tableware is on the shelf under the table, and kids' tableware is at the self-serve corner.
The self-serve corner: 8 pork cuts, wrap vegetables and sauces
The self-serve corner at Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch has 8 types of meat laid out: jjolgit daepae, ogyeopsal daepae, kkotsamgyeop, frozen samgyeop, daepae samgyeop, Iberico daepae, golden duroc daepae, and kkotmokssal daepae. You grab scissors, tongs, and other utensils here too! If you have too much to carry, just use a tray.
The meat variety is incredible, 8 kinds. And apparently the lineup rotates regularly! Last time they had daechang (grilled intestines), but not this time. I don't eat that anyway haha.
Garlic, peppers, perilla leaves, lettuce, mushrooms, bracken fern, and other ingredients and wrap vegetables that pair well with meat are also unlimited. Being able to wrap as much as you want without holding back — pure happiness😍
There's also a huge range of sauces — chili sauce, salted shrimp sauce, salt, curry powder, gochujang, you name it!!! But the true champion is the signature sauce of Muhandae Pae, the all-purpose sauce. It's a soy-based sauce that's salty and sweet, with a subtle hint of chili and garlic that pairs perfectly with meat. Sadly, I couldn't find any wasabi.

There are also dumplings, gimmari (fried seaweed rolls), sausages, rice cakes, and potatoes you can grill on the pan, plus side dishes like bean sprouts, kimchi, and shredded scallions, all at the self-serve corner.

If anything runs low, just press the buzzer and they'll refill it right away, so don't walk away disappointed.

Water and drinks are self-serve too.
Unlimited Hangang ramyeon: how the Boggeul Boggeul Taeng machine works
Here's the thing — Hangang ramyeon is also unlimited at Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch. There are so many ramyeon types that I agonized over what to get before picking the classic, fundamental Shin Ramyeon.

With the Boggeul Boggeul Taeng machine, you just put in the ramyeon and press the button, and it's done in no time — so convenient~~~

But here's what annoyed me — there's no cancel button, so you're supposed to strictly follow the timer shown on the machine and take it out exactly when it's done. Someone with a short temper must have pulled theirs out early. Whatever time they left got added to my cooking time, so I ended up with painfully salty ramyeon. It was tasty, but way too salty, so I had to add water to it ㅡㅡ^

You can also get the 'K-dessert,' fried rice. Roasted seaweed flakes and sesame oil are set out alongside it.
Eating at Eongteori: grill the shredded scallions first
At Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch, I grilled the daepae and topped it with shredded scallions, bean sprouts, and kimchi. I got too greedy and it didn't all fit on one tray. Had to make several trips lol
The great thing about daepae is that it cooks fast❤️❤️ I kept sprinkling on the pepper and grilling away.

Grill up the shredded scallions, bean sprouts, and kimchi together with the meat and this place turns into heaven.. whatever else you skip, definitely grill the shredded scallions. Once grilled, the sweetness really comes out and it's a killer match with the meat. The potatoes are sliced thin too, so when grilled they get this amazing chewy-crispy texture. Looking at these photos, it probably seems like I ate a ton of meat, right? I actually ate more but I'll stop posting photos here before I look like a total pig.
I wrapped up a solid lettuce wrap too, om nom~~

Since the meat was so good, of course I had to have a glass of soju. I ate so much meat that I couldn't even get to the fried rice. But I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet nonetheless!!! Next time I'll destroy the fried rice too❤️
