Nowon sushi buffet with stroller access for a 5-month-old: Kuu Kuu
In short
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a sushi and sashimi buffet on the 6th floor at 247 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul, where 2 hours of free parking and direct elevator access make family gatherings easy. On a weekday lunch visit with a 5-month-old baby, the stroller rolled through Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch without trouble, and the flounder and salmon sushi cuts were noticeably bigger than on an earlier visit. Between the made-to-order jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and marble ice cream served even at lunch, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is worth recommending for a family meal with a baby.

With autumn here, my family went to Kuu Kuu Nowon for a get-together. Sharing the autumn menu lineup and our overall experience with you, neighbors!
Parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch: is there elevator access?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch offers 2 hours of free parking within the building, and the elevator connects right after parking so you can reach the 6th-floor restaurant without any stairs. When looking for a Nowon family gathering spot, one of the most important factors is definitely ease of access. Kuu Kuu Nowon isn't just easy to reach by public transit — it also has solid in-building parking, making it very convenient to visit by car.
For families visiting with kids or elderly members, parking conditions and elevator access are a big part of overall satisfaction. The route from parking to the restaurant wasn't complicated at all, and with the elevator right there, moving a stroller or wheelchair was hassle-free with no stairs to worry about. Thanks to the smooth access, we could enjoy the gathering comfortably from the start — a great Nowon spot for family meals.
How to book Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch and which discounts apply
I booked through Naver Reservation before visiting. For family gatherings, I'd recommend reserving ahead rather than waiting in line.
Through the end of September, there's a ₩5,000 discount event when paying with a Toss Pay-Pay account or Toss Money. It's applied per person, so the total discount ends up being bigger than you'd expect!

Living up to its reputation as a Nowon family gathering spot, there's a good range of drink options to make things more fun for the adults in the group. There's also a receipt/Naver review event running that gets you free unlimited draft beer — perfect for enjoying a drink or two on a budget.
What is on the lunch buffet menu at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch?

There was a great variety of sushi and rolls, plus fresh salmon sashimi and mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), which I loved.
The salmon sushi and flounder sushi in particular were noticeably better quality than my last visit — very satisfying.

Dessert corner and the marble ice cream served at lunch
I'm the kind of person who checks out the dessert lineup before I even start eating — haha. The dessert corner at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch had a solid selection of bakery items, tteok (rice cakes), drinks, and waffles.

You can even get marble ice cream, a hit with kids and with my husband and me alike, so you can enjoy a full-course meal from mains to dessert — a real Nowon family gathering favorite. It used to not be available at lunch, but now weekday lunch includes marble ice cream too.

Hot food and made-to-order counters at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
The hot food section was also super varied.

Chili shrimp, chicken, barbecue, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried food — there's plenty for everyone regardless of age or taste.

They make noodle dishes fresh to order too, so we each had a bowl of jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup).

They also keep rolling out new menu items each time — like a soup made with Uljin snow crab, red king crab pasta, and shiitake mushroom samgyetang (chicken soup with ginseng) — so there's always something different to try on each visit.

Eating out with a 5-month-old: the verdict on Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
I was worried about eating out with a 5-month-old baby, but at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch there was zero hassle moving the stroller around, which made getting around with the baby much easier — a memory I'm grateful for. What satisfied me most, though, was how much the sushi quality had improved. Compared to my previous visit, the flounder and salmon sushi were clearly upgraded, with much larger cuts of fish on top of the rice.
From easy access to an even better menu lineup, this was a visit the whole family thoroughly enjoyed. If you're weighing options for a Nowon family gathering spot, I'd recommend booking Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch through Naver Reservation and giving this buffet a try!
