Gangnam hair salon protein care for tangled hair: Beorn Hair Cheongdam

Lately, my younger daughter had been worrying because her hair had become especially tangled and dry, so I took her to Beorn Hair Cheongdam.

Beorn Hair Cheongdam, which I recommend as a hair salon near Gangnam-gu Office Station, was our second visit with my younger daughter. I went first to have my own hair done, and it is such a satisfying salon that I keep bringing my daughters along too 👍

As soon as we walked in, we could feel that sophisticated, private Cheongdam-dong atmosphere. My daughter does not get bored when she has her hair done at Beorn Hair either, because the interior is so clean and pretty 🤩

How is damaged hair diagnosed and cared for?

Thorough one-on-one hair diagnosis

Before the treatment, the designer carefully felt and checked my daughter's hair condition. It looks very dry even in the photos, right? ㅠㅠ

Rather than a standard treatment that simply coats the surface with silicone for temporary softness, we decided on a customized treatment focused on inner care that rebuilds the hair's structure itself.

Deep cleansing & moisture replenishment

First, in the shampoo room, they used a dedicated shampoo to wash away buildup and heavy metals inside the hair and open the cuticles so the nutrients could absorb well. Then they generously applied moisture and essential amino acids to her dry, damaged hair 💛

They even prepared refreshing tea and snacks. Looking out the window made it feel like we were at a café, so waiting was not boring at all haha. Beorn Hair's inner clinic treatment may vary a little depending on hair damage and length, but ours took about an hour and a half in total!

Protein care that presses keratin in by hand

Intensive protein care

They carefully applied keratin, the key protein ingredient that gives hair strength, strand by strand. Rather than merely combing it through, they diligently patted and pressed it in by hand to improve absorption!!

There were so many tangled sections along the way ㅠㅠㅠ We promised to meet again next time after working hard on brushing and home care too ㅠㅠ haha

After the careful hand-combing and pressing, they wrapped her hair and used a warm heat-treatment device to maximize penetration, helping the protein settle deeply between the cuticles.

We moved to the lovely shampoo room for the final stage of the treatment. With the soft lighting and full-body massage, it was the perfect course for falling into a blissful nap!

They finished with a hair pack that closes the cuticles so the protein they had filled in does not escape easily. My daughter was very happy, saying the scalp acupressure during rinsing felt so refreshing. The stylist kept checking whether anything was uncomfortable and whether the pressure was okay too haha.

Damaged ends transformed with just a blow-dry

Even with only a blow-dry, the ends that used to catch and snag with every pass of my fingers now glide smoothly right through them 🤩👍

It does not feel oily or flat and greasy just on the outside; instead, every strand feels weightier, firmer, and stronger. Especially, her flyaways no longer puff up and sit neatly in place, so morning styling time has become much shorter! Mom is so happy because getting ready for school takes less time hahaha.
