Wasabi-free sushi and a kebab station at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch

While looking for a place to eat with family during a trip to Chuncheon, I went to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch — I love sushi, and I especially love buffets where everyone can pick what they want instead of being stuck with one menu~

You can use the underground parking lot in the building, and it's free for 3 hours if you're eating at QooQoo~

Prices differ a bit between weekday lunch and dinner, and weekends and holidays, so it's a good idea to check the price for your time slot before visiting~

Amenities like the sink and playroom

The first thing that caught my eye in the store was the sink and hand sanitizer. There's a sink inside the restaurant, so you can wash your hands right away without having to go all the way to the bathroom.

And QooQoo Chuncheon Branch also has a playroom where kids can play for a bit! Thanks to that, adults can probably eat a little more at ease too. When eating out with kids, these kinds of facilities matter just as much as the food, so if you're visiting with a toddler, it's worth knowing there's a playroom.

The sushi corner and wasabi-free sushi

The first place I headed was, of course, the sushi corner! There was a wide variety of sushi to choose from, so I picked out what I wanted one by one — if you're normally into sushi, being able to pick whatever you want and eat as much as you like will definitely be satisfying.

And the sushi doesn't have wasabi in it, which seems like a plus for anyone visiting with kids~ Kids sometimes have trouble eating sushi with wasabi in it, but here it's not added from the start, so kids can eat it without worry~ People who like wasabi can just add their own from what's provided separately, so everyone from kids to adults can eat to their own taste — I loved that!

A buffet menu that even includes kebabs

Besides sushi, there are all kinds of other dishes ready to go, so even if you don't like sushi, you can pick something to your taste. It's a great Chuncheon spot for anyone who wants to taste a little bit of a lot of different foods.

What really surprised me was that there was kebab!! I didn't even get to try kebab when I traveled to Turkey, and here I was tasting it in Chuncheon haha. A staff member kindly sliced it fresh for me, so I could just take it and enjoy it easily~

There were so many kinds of noodles too~ Part of me wanted to try one of every kind, but just one bowl of jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) filled me up pretty well ㅠㅠ

Drinks with no extra charge

Being able to drink as much as you like from a wide variety of drinks with no extra charge is definitely one of QooQoo's strengths~ There were all kinds of sodas, plus various juices, coffee, and even tea bags. In particular, this was the first time I'd seen the trendy ube juice and sikhye (sweet rice punch) at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch haha.

Dessert from patbingsu to marble ice cream

After the meal, there was bread that's easy to grab, along with fresh fruit and jelly, so dessert after the meal was completely covered too haha.

For patbingsu (shaved ice dessert), you could pick your own toppings and build it exactly how you like. There were also waffles and soft-serve ice cream, so I got to enjoy a full, sweet dessert.

The dessert I picked was marble ice cream!! Being able to freely scoop as much marble ice cream as I wanted made me so happy!! haha
