Chuncheon sushi buffet with patbingsu desserts: QooQoo

Since the semester started and I’ve been going to school, even choosing what to eat has felt like a task lately, haha. I wanted to eat a bit of lots of different things for once, so I went to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch! 🍣

For days when you want a little of everything

Choosing one dish is nice too, but sometimes you want to try lots of things in small amounts, right? That’s when a buffet comes to mind. At QooQoo, you can enjoy sushi along with many other dishes all at once, so it’s also a popular spot for family meals or get-togethers!

Waitlist registration is available at mealtimes

One thing I liked when visiting was that you can register for the waitlist! During busy times, it may be hard to get seated right away, but you can put your name down and wait more comfortably.. 🤭 It seemed especially nice for family gatherings or bigger groups, since you don’t have to stand around in front of the restaurant. If you’re visiting on a weekend or around a busy meal period, check whether there’s a waitlist first ☺️

Sampling sushi little by little, all-you-can-eat

This was my first time at QooQoo, and the biggest appeal of a buffet is definitely the all-you-can-eat setup..~ If you need more, you can simply go back for it, and rather than piling your plate up from the start, it was nice to take only as much as I could eat and try lots of dishes!

Sushi lovers in particular can eat as much as they want, so keep it in mind if you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi spot in Chuncheon! Rather than getting greedy right away thinking, “I need to eat this and that too!”, trying a little of many things is how you really enjoy a buffet…💗

Family-friendly amenities for dining with kids

There are high chairs available too, so families visiting with babies can dine a little more comfortably! When eating out with children, there are surprisingly many things to think about, like seating and the dining space, but it felt like a decent place for families because these details had been considered too -

There’s an indoor playroom on one side too, so kids can play while parents eat comfortably. If you’re looking for a buffet in Chuncheon for a family gathering, these amenities are worth noting! ☺️

A wide range of sushi to choose your favorites

The biggest reason we went to QooQoo was, of course, sushi! As you’d expect from a sushi buffet, it was nice to have many types of sushi in one place 🤭 When I go out specifically for sushi, I usually end up repeatedly ordering a few favorites, but at a buffet you can take small portions of the kinds you want and compare them, which was much more convenient!

I think another buffet advantage is that, when several people visit together, everyone can choose according to their own taste even if their favorite dishes differ🍣 So if you’re looking for a sushi buffet in Chuncheon, it seemed like a good place to try at least once!

A dessert bar after sushi

Another advantage of QooQoo is that it doesn’t end with sushi alone! You can pick up a little of other foods while eating sushi too, so there’s a wide range of choices - ♥️ For someone like me who likes trying a little of many things rather than eating just one food the whole time, this setup was quite satisfying!

Best of all, the dessert bar was well stocked, so I had patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans) and even an old-school street drink✨

Visit around 4–5 p.m. for a quieter meal

It wasn’t very busy when we visited, but by the time we finished eating and left, it was exactly dinner time and there were sooo many people!! If you want a quieter meal, I recommend 4–5 p.m.⭐️
