It's about a 3-minute walk from Gangnam-gu Office Station, so it's convenient by subway, and there's a bus stop right in front too, so people coming by bus can visit easily as well.

If you're visiting by car, valet parking is apparently available, so if you're planning to use it, I'd recommend calling the salon ahead of time to check.

Walking in, the interior was really spacious and comfortable, with a calm overall atmosphere that I liked. In particular, staff kept cleaning throughout, so it felt well maintained.

It was a nice atmosphere to relax in while getting my dye done, and they also brought me drinks and snacks so I could nibble on something while I waited.

When I was almost done with my drink, a staff member came over and told me there were lots of drink options available, so I should let them know if I wanted anything else. This kind of thoughtful touch was so touching 🫶🏻

🎨 The color consultation with senior stylist Hannah

This dye was done by senior stylist Hannah. Before starting, she showed me a color chart directly and carefully asked about the color and direction I wanted first.

Since I'd only been doing root touch-ups repeatedly, my hair color had gradually shifted unevenly across my whole head — she checked the current condition and explained which direction would work best.

She recommended a few colors that matched the look I wanted and explained thoroughly what kind of result each would give, which made it easy to choose. Rather than just pushing a fixed color, it felt like a personalized consultation that considered both the style I wanted and my hair's current condition, which I really liked.

Before dyeing, she carefully sprayed on a scalp protectant first. I tend to secretly worry about my scalp stinging or feeling uncomfortable during dyeing, but this time there was almost no stinging or irritation during the process, so I could relax.

And when applying the dye, two stylists worked together quickly — their hands were really fast. When the application takes a long time it can get a bit boring, but with two people working together, it definitely felt like the time was cut down.

After the dye, I moved to the shampoo room, and the shampoo chair was way more comfortable than I expected. Lying back comfortably during the shampoo, I got a scalp massage at the end that felt so refreshing.

Even while shampooing, they kept carefully asking if there was any spot I wanted rinsed more, which made me feel like they cared about even the small details from the customer's perspective.

After the dye, they dried my hair and finished with a blowout, and I personally loved this part. (Her blowout skills were really impressive.) She styled it beautifully in a way I could never get when drying my hair myself, so seeing it in the mirror put me in a great mood.

Actually, the reason I visited the salon this time was partly because of the September family events, and partly because I'm on parental leave and was planning to go greet people at work for the first time in a while. Since it was going to be a setting where I'd meet lots of people, I wanted my hair to look neat, and having both the dye and blowout finished beautifully lifted my mood even before I left. I even thought it'd be nice to come back just for a blowout sometime, not even a dye. 😊
