But looking closer, the consideration for kids didn't stop at the play area. There was a diaper-changing station in the restroom, and the walls were padded, presumably in case kids run around and bump into something.

Details like these might not stand out much in photos, but they quietly stick with you once you visit in person. Walking around, I got the sense that they'd really thought about customers who come with children. After finishing the shampoo, a protein treatment was applied to my hair.

Instead of just twirling the hair, she showed me directly how to set the ridge by following the flow and direction of the curl. It would've been a bit tricky to grasp just from hearing it described, but seeing it demonstrated on my actual hair made it much easier to understand.

The thing is, hair always looks amazing right after leaving the salon, but once you dry it yourself at home, it rarely looks quite the same. That's exactly why I appreciated this part so much. Not just making it look pretty in the chair, but teaching a styling method so you can keep a similar look at home — that felt genuinely practical to me.

And once I saw the finished style, I liked it even more than I'd expected. Just like I wanted, the curl wasn't too strong, flowing naturally, and with the added movement, the whole vibe felt different from usual.

That said, I felt the entrance/exit area of the underground lot was a bit narrow.

Experienced drivers probably won't have much trouble, but if you're a newer driver, going in or out might feel a little nerve-wracking. If parking makes you nervous, using the public parking lot next door might be the easier choice.
