I found a total date-worthy Western restaurant near Gangnam Station!
I had personal business near Sinnonhyeon after a while, so I ended up in Gangnam and finally ate solo at a restaurant I'd been curious about every time I passed by! The vibe and the service were so good — it's apparently a spot foreign customers love and a go-to for Gangnam work dinners — so here's my honest review for anyone hunting for a Gangnam Station steak restaurant!

The sign is totally cool haha. The bench to the right of the entrance is a photo hotspot for foreign customers — it's cute enough that everyone stops for a shot there.
Counter seats for solo diners and a self-bar with a fast charger
Inside Brivit Gangnam there are actually two counter seats, great for solo diners. The view out the window while you eat is fantastic too!
The tables inside that feel like an outdoor terrace were so popular they were all filled up as reserved seats!
This really saved me haha — the self-bar has a fast charger! Water, pickles, all of that is self-serve here. And I made good use of that fast charger, let me tell you!
The system here is pretty unique too — along with the menu, they give you this little bell! Instead of pressing a buzzer to order, you pick up the bell and ring it gracefully, and staff come right over! Genuinely, genuinely kind. Plus there's a free ade event you can stack — works on both Google and Naver reviews!

1. Brivit Steak
It arrives looking like this at first, but there's a surprising twist coming! The menu mentioned a French cheese cascade, which had me curious — then the server stirred a heated pot for a while and poured something over the steak.
The visual alone is wild, right? This is French aligot cheese, and it's not a plain cheese flavor at all — it tastes like potato-infused cheese, so at first I thought it was cheese mixed into mashed potatoes to make the cascade!
It's delicious just wound around the fork with cheese like this, but the steak quality and doneness were spot on too — juicy and tender, so good ㅠㅠ
Look at this cheese stretch ㅠㅠ This was my first time trying French cheese like this, and unlike the cheese you normally eat, it has a heavy, rich flavor. It stretches chewily but isn't greasy at all — just perfect!
The bread served alongside was really good too — dip it in the wine sauce pooled at the bottom and it's amazing! The sour-cream-like steak sauce was great as well.
Overall the garnish was excellent — eating scallions with steak was a first for me, and I honestly thought 'can this even work...?' but it totally did!! So good. The scallions turned out to be a real highlight. The roasted whole garlic was also completely delicious!!

2. Brivit-ade Grapefruit
I asked which ade was tastiest and ordered based on that — as the best-selling item, it delivered on flavor! It also came with dried grapefruit chips, which made it even better.
Just stir it well with the muddler — the concentration is pretty strong, comparable to drinks at a café, so it wasn't bad at all and paired really well with the steak. If you're planning a date course near Gangnam Station, this place looks like a solid pick.

The garnish, the cheese, even the steak doneness — everything was delicious at this Gangnam Station Western restaurant, Brivit! With menus prepared by country for foreign guests and staff whose kindness stood out, it's a solid Gangnam Station date spot.
