We went to see JT's Science Lab (마술사 제이티의 과학실험실), a kids' science magic show in the main hall of Geomdan Welfare Center (검단복지회관) in Incheon. A long rainy season and then summer vacation 😭 Where do you go with the kids every day? What do you even do? I wonder that every weekend too~ and this show at Geomdan Welfare Center turned out to be a great indoor place to take kids in Incheon!

It's an interactive show with all kinds of science experiments and magic performances for children, so Hajun had a blast, and he even said he'd give a presentation about the show at his daycare on Monday! Let me tell you all about it ♥️

Where JT's Science Lab is held in Incheon and ticket discounts

The show is held in the main hall of Geomdan Welfare Center (18 Wanjeong-ro 92beon-gil, Geomdan-gu, Incheon). There are special discounts if you buy several tickets together.

• 30% off when you buy 4 tickets
• Seats are assigned on site, first come first served, from 1 hour before the show
• You can book up to just before the show starts on the day

What time should you arrive for a front-row seat at JT's Science Lab?

For the 2 p.m. show, first-come-first-served ticketing starts at 1 p.m. at the Geomdan Welfare Center ticket office, so if you want the front rows, arrive at 1. Walk into the center and there's the JT's Science Lab poster, right there! Hajun was already so excited.

You go to the ticket office, pick your seat, and your ticket is done! Entry starts 20 minutes before the show. We arrived at 1:30, so we had about 10 minutes to spare and read a book at Geomdan Library (검단도서관) next door~ If you want to lock down the front rows, I think the best plan is to arrive at 1 p.m., get your ticket, and spend the waiting time reading at the library next door!

How to pass the wait before the show at Geomdan Library

Not at all. After you go in, a quiz video plays until the show starts, so the wait isn't boring. We went in around 1:50 p.m.! The video lets you guess quiz answers, and some were hard even for me~ The quizzes are built around kids' imagination, so the 10 minutes flew by!

What kind of show is JT's Science Lab?

It's not just a magic show. It shows amazing magic through the principles of science. The magician explained static electricity magic, superpower magic and even chemical elements, so tricky science felt a lot friendlier! When I asked Hajun on Monday which magic he'd seen, he remembered and explained every single one! (He must have been really impressed!)

There's no dull moment, since it's participatory and hands-on, and the kids seemed to watch with real focus! It's science magic with JT the rabbit, and I loved that dads and moms can take part too!

Kids join the levitation and elephant toothpaste magic on stage

In JT's Science Lab, kids take part directly in the levitation magic and the elephant toothpaste magic. Magic with science mixed in, like the "elephant toothpaste" experiment, was fascinating! It's an experiment that was once popular on Reels and Shorts, and seeing it up close in front of you makes kids' curiosity explode, and the adults had a great time watching too!

Magic prop gift and souvenir photo after the show

After the show, if you add the magician JT's Kakao Channel as a friend, they hand out magic props as gifts! Hajun got one and was so excited that he said he'd show his friends magic the next day!

After the show we also took a photo with the magician and JT the rabbit, and Hajun said it was such a fun and amazing time 💗

The shows at Geomdan Welfare Center run for 60 minutes at 2 p.m. on Sunday July 26 and Sundays August 16, 23 and 30. Parking is available, and you can book on Naver too.
